I think the current one looks best with the current icon and with the colourful suggested icon, but the suggested banner would look better with the black FRIENDS writing icon.

If you let the spot know that an election is going on before creating the pick, and make a forum (as has always been the user preferred way of dealing with spot changes), everyone can have time to submit their own creations. That way, everyone's suggestions get the same amount of consideration, instead of just yours. Just because there's a new system for creating polls doesn't mean that you should forget the very important forum step, which includes everyone who wants to be included. (It even says "Before creating a new banner election, we encourage you to create a forum for other fans to discuss their creations!" in on the icon/banner poll creation page.)

I know you know this, because I've seen you create suggestion forums before. The new polls aren't a shortcut. They're a way to prevent people from rigging picks.

I'm open to a new banner, but only if the process is done in a way that includes everyone.
