As much as I find RoyEd sick and wrong....this one makes me want to throw-up. They're freakin brothers!!!! Sick!!!

What angers me the most about Elricest is not only are they brothers...but to me, putting them together like THAT is like saying that being brothers isn't "enough". That you can't love someone deeply and truly and profoundly unless it's romantic or sexual.

Which is TOTAL BS!!! >.< Ed and Al are proof that you CAN have a deep, "soulmate" relationship with someone in a platonic way. Roy and Hughes are the same way too! And me and my best friend are proof of that as well! I am dead serious - if I had to, I would give up an arm and leg for her. THAT'S how much I love her. But I would never think of her in a sexual way; she's my soul-sister! She's the Ed to my Al!

Brotherly/sisterly/family/friendship love is every bit as powerful and beautiful as romantic/sexual love. Anyone who says otherwise can go jump off a cliff. >.>

You can find stories on Fanfic.net that include all of these parinings listed and then some. I thought it was kind of strange but apperently there are a lot of people on FF who support this pairing.

I think the strangest one aside from Ed X Al is the pairing of Ed X Riza, I mean seriously where the hell did the fans get that from?

no one said that if you are together as in dating, marriage, whatever that you HAD to have sex...

...all LOVE is the SAME. There is no kinds of LOVE only LOVE itself and besides why did God let animals mate with their brothers and sisters? And arent we all related through God? Of one father?

Even if you just date them, it's still wrong for siblings to be together. Animals and humans are different in some ways, animals don't know they shouldn't do that with ther family. But human should know it's not right and just gross. Like Dearheart said, you can have a bond and love someone without being in a romantic way with them. Also I don't believe in God, I believe that there's a forus watching over earth, but not just one powerful God. I loved to see your reason for hating EdWin, this should be good. I love hearing the reasons people come up with for hating them.

With all due respect, animeanimal, I strongly disagree. Saying there are no kinds of love is like saying there are no races in humankind. Which (in a sense) is true - a human being is a human being. Love is love. Period.

HOWEVER, there are different races within humanity - African, Korean, European, Mexican, you name it!

Does that mean humankind has different "levels" or that we aren't all equal? Absolutely not! Every race is beautiful and special in their own ways; our differences MAKE us beautiful and special. We are all different, but still equal. That's something that should be celebrated, not watered down.

Love is exactly the same way! There are different kinds of love relationships - platonic, parental, brotherly, romantic, sexual, etc.

But does that mean some love relationships are "lesser" than others, or that love has "levels", or that not all of them are meaningful? Absolutely not! EVERY kind of love is beautiful and powerful and special, and it's the differences that make it so beautiful! No kind of love is more powerful than any other; they are ALL special in different ways. And again, that's something that should be celebrated, not erased.

ok, Al and Ed isnt bad, not my main shipping, but its not like saying friendship isnt enough, its like saying their brotherly bond builds stronger. to love, you dont have to be "sexual". ed and al could simply be in a loving, strong brotherly relationship. thats my opinion.
