. Here’s your round-up of the latest filming and cast news.

Carice van Houten is headed back to the set. Fans had wondered

after her last tweet about Westeros if she was finished filming for the year already, but it seems that wasn’t the case.

Over in Croatia, new pics of the construction (source article contains Season 5 spoilers!) on Lokrum have surfaced. While still officially unconfirmed to be a

set, Lokrum has been a location in the past, notably for Qarth in season 2. The accompanying article notes that water channels of some type are being installed around the set.

Back in Belfast, cast members are filling up the city lately. The latest actors to be spotted together in the area are Aidan Gillen, Michael McElhatton, and Conleth Hill.

Kit Harington, Alfie Allen and Iwan Rheon ran into a fan while out on the town, as well.

It looks like they’ve been heading out there late at night.

It’s been a busy few weeks for filming news, and will only get more exciting with location shooting in Croatia due to begin shortly.

Awesome… erm.. Well, I guess the production on the Moneyglass castle is progressing, but not complete just yet.

Does that look like they’re making it look like a wooden fort like Deepwood Motte? No real motte there, but VFX can add the bailey and motte fairly easily…

I guess it does not look like Winterfell, Riverrun or an inn to me either, but I still do not get a solid feeling to any location. Maybe a new area in the Vale of Arryn like outside Snakewood Forest? But that seems like a lot of set building for some random region…

Here’s hoping the next set of pics in a couple weeks solves the riddle! XD

I didn’t realize Conleth Hill actually shaves his head every season for the role. He had a rather striking full head of hair when Queen Elizabeth did her set visit the other month.

Now that Theon and the Boltons are popping up… It’s probably just Winterfell.

Is it just me, or are Aidan, Michael, and Conleth all stoned as hell in that picture. I think she caught them while they were out for munchies…

Actually he does shave his head – in one of the commentaries on an earlier season [can\'t remember which one but it\'s up on YouTube] Michelle Fairley mentioned having run into him one summer and he was bemoaning having shaved his hair too soon because he didn’t have to start filming straightaway.

Moneyglass still remains quite the mystery but I still think it looks like Deepwood Motte or the Dun Fort in Duskendale. Probably completely wrong though!

Not looking great but they surely have to do something with Balon this season. I’d happily wait for season 6 for Euron and/or Victarion but would be annoyed if they’re completely cut. Especially as on events so far the Dorne stuff was equally/if not more cuttable and appears to be getting a lot of screen time.

I just discovered WotW today, been catching up on a lot of the posts since inception, and just wanted to thank Sue and the crew again for doing this. This site makes me happy. I didn’t realize how much I missed the old WiC until I found WotW.

Also, love that picture of Littlefinger, Roose, and Varys. Quite a gathering of masterminds in the supermarket there.

If Aidan Gillen, Michael McElhatton, and Conleth Hill are truly getting baked together when they’re not shooting and then wandering around Belfast so that Aidan can get an ice cream bar, then it needs to be on the DVD. I’m serious. I’ll pay extra if I have to.

That’s not new anymore, though. These are new photos, telling us who is in town and filming.

Even with cutting and cropping, the picture would be too large, but if I could make it work, that picture of Aidan with the ice cream bar would be my avatar!

There have been a couple of mentions of water channels being built at Lokrum, so I’d guess they’ll be using that for part of Braavos? I can’t recall water channels/canals anywhere else. Am I forgetting something?
