There was a man who loved his son very much. The man worked the bridge for the trains passing over a large reservoir. Him and his son would do everything with eachother; for the son meant the world to the man. Nothing could ever tear them apart. Often, the man would take his son to work with him. They both enjoyed watching the trains as they passed by.
One day, the man was working inside of the small control room, waiting for the পরবর্তি train. Eventually, the train was heard from a distance, as it was nearing the reservoir. On this train were drug addicts, liars, cheaters, and thieves. Sinners all alike...
The train was nearing the reservoir দ্বারা সেকেন্ড and steam could be seen as it was passing through the country. The boy had been playing beside the outside of the control room, when he heard the train coming. অভিনয় in haste, the boy ran around the side of the building but tripped and fell. He fell down into the lower bowels of the bridge gears. Looking through the window, the man saw his son fall into the gears. The man cried out, worried for his son. The train was almost there and the bridge wasn't leveled out.
The train was coming nearer.
সেকেন্ড passed and the train was now visible. It was rushing at শীর্ষ speed towards the bridge.
The man had to make a decision...

Save his son...




Or...



Pull the lever and let his son be crushed...


Tears ran down the man's face as he pulled the lever...

All the drug addicts, liars, cheaters, and thieves looked out their windows and saw the man crying in defiance and complete sadness.

This is the kind of sacrifice and despondency that God had to endure for the safety of all of us... He gave his one and only Son so that we, sinners, could be saved from all sin. The death of one saved many...

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life."






*Details* I was watching a clip of this story in church one দিন and it was very touching. People were crying and everything. The pastor ব্যক্ত that it was from a movie, but it mirrored the great sacrifice, and they decided to share it with us. Just thought আপনি might like to know in case আপনি have seen a part of a movie with this scene. It was very intense and it made me feel... unworthy... but at least we have a caring, loving, and forgiving God that loves us. Otherwise, we would have to face hell after death.
