hello everybody! i am so sorry it took me so long to write a chapter 4 but with the holidays i havent been around long enough to concentrate! i live in massachusetts so i had no power for a week and a half with the storm and all! but in this chapter i am going to be doing alot of bouncing around with the characters! this shall be interesting! so be aware! lol. thx for পাঠ করা i appreciate all of আপনি for being so patient! enjoy!

"What time is it?" Nate ব্যক্ত looking at his watch. Him and Serena had been waiting for Blair to be ready for almost an ঘন্টা now. "Well what do আপনি expect Nate? CHUCK'S going to be there!" Serena said. "Oh so their, uh, going out again?" Nate asked awkwardly, he hadnt talked to Chuck since the funeral. "No, not that i know of she didnt tell me much but i walked in on them making out the other night. I think their just both confused. But why do আপনি ask?" Serena asked raising an eyebrow suggestively while gripping her fashion magazine like it was her life support. "Oh stop Serena! Curiousity killed the cat আপনি know!" Nate ব্যক্ত with a smirk. "Ehh, your getting to be আরো and আরো like Chuck everyday!" Serena said. "Yeah i dont think that is a compliment!" he ব্যক্ত wiping the smirk of his face like he wipes off স্প্যাঘেটি sauce when eating his mothers signature dish. "Well I am going to go check on Mrs. Bass!" Serena ব্যক্ত with a smirk of her own. She got up and confidently strode across the room and went upstairs. Nate let out a big sigh and ব্যক্ত "Well I will just be," he looked around "here."

"What are আপনি two so excited about its not like its an interesting event. Its a Fundraiser for Shelter মার্জার Serena!" the brunette ব্যক্ত with an eye roll as she switched shoes for the billionth time. Serena noticed she was still gripping the fashion magazine. "Yeah, i guess. So is Chuck going to be there tonight?" Serena asked nosily but concerned. Blair froze then smiled and continued shimmying her foot into her pretty পরাকাষ্ঠা heels. "Yeah, i think, why do আপনি ask?" she ব্যক্ত innocently. "I dont know, but আপনি might want to ask Nate that প্রশ্ন because he was asking that just a couple মিনিট ago. "Nate?" Blair ব্যক্ত with a laugh. "Why would Nate care? Isnt he going with Brooklyn anyway?" she asked finally deciding on the পরাকাষ্ঠা heels. "Him and Vannessa have been rocky since the funeral." Serena ব্যক্ত smiling, she didnt know why so she stopped. "Ehh, whatever. Who cares?" Blair said.

Serena gasped when she actually looked at Blair when she came out of her walk-in closet. She had never seen Blair look so... slutty! Serena eyes still wide she ব্যক্ত "Blair why are আপনি dressed like that?" the dress she was wearing didnt even reach her knee, it was a gray গলরজ্জু, halter with পরাকাষ্ঠা lace. Blair had her hair in a messy ponytail, instead of her red lipstick she usually wore she had on clear lipgloss and soft grey eyeshadow. "Dressed like what? This isnt for thee fundraiser its for the after party at... Chucks suite!" Blair ব্যক্ত going into the bathroom and putting on her dress she was actually wearing for the fundraiser. It was typical Blair fashion of course. Serena let out a sigh of relief. "But anyway S আপনি havent told me about আপনি and Dan yet!" Blair ব্যক্ত with fake enthusiam as if she knew Serena was just about to say something about it. "Believe it অথবা not he is coming to the party tonight!" Serena ব্যক্ত exploding. She had been so patient waiting for the perfect time to tell someone about Dan. Blair sensed this so she kept quiet and let Serena talk.

All she could think about was Chuck. What would he be wearing? What would he say to her? What would she say to him? What would happen in his suite at the after party? SO many প্রশ্ন she wanted to ask but couldnt because no one would know the answers. "I mean who even invited Dan?" Serena's প্রশ্ন snapped Blair back to the present. "Yeah i know, who would invite him?" Blair ব্যক্ত sourly, Serena didnt notice. They walked back downstairs to a impatient-out-of-his-mind Nate and then they walked to the elevator chatting about the lame party their parents were making them go to.

Dan certaintly had no interest what-so-ever in escorting Jenny to the stupid Cat Fundraiser. The biggest reason was because he knew everybody from his school would be there which meant Serena would be there. The last time they spoke she was asking him how he got in her bed, he then calmly explained to her what happened and she relaxed but only for a সেকেন্ড because then she found Aaron's note and started yelling at Dan for being so stupid. Which Dan then stormed out pissed off and knocked down a vase that Serena's mother had had for years. He felt so discouraged and bad that he went to Vanessa for উপদেশ only to get kicked out because she was meeting Nate soon. He didnt know where to turn to so he went to Jenny who insisted he be her plus 1 at this fundraiser to cheer him up. She wouldnt tell him how she got the actually invitation because the world knows that of course the Humphrey's dont have any extra cash to donate to rabid and diseased cats. When they got to the party they walked in quickly. Jenny smiled and waved. Even though no one was looking at her. Dan thought that was odd but he kept up with her. It was going to be a long night.

Blair was inside when Chuck burst through the door, looking scared. It was not how she imagined the start of her night would be. She rushed over to him. "Chuck whats going on?" She asked sounding like her mother. She shuddered দ্বারা the thought. He walked right past her grabbing a glass of champagne the waiter was carrying, but he wasnt in the celebratory mood which was apparent. "Chuck?!" Blair called after him. She followed him to the backyard. "Chuck what happened? আপনি can tell me." She ব্যক্ত finally catching up to him and grabbing his elbow. "My Uncle Jack is trying to steal খাদ Industries from me. He thinks I cant handle it. He says I'm too immature to manage a whole empire." he said. "Are আপনি sure he ব্যক্ত that? It must be a mistake! He cant really take it over can he?" she asked stunned দ্বারা his words. "Not legally, but we share the same blood, Waldorf, he will try and find a way. Manipulate. Canive. Cheat." she didnt know what to say so she leaned in and hugged him. He hugged her back. Not knowing why his life had turned so bad. The only light in his life was Blair. He didnt want to lose her again. "It'll be okay." she whispered. "I hope." he whispered back. She wished they could stay like that forever.
