What would আপনি think if someone else wrote sequels to Harry Potter অথবা Twilight?

I would defenatly read them if J.K Rowling authorized them, but I would never enjoy them as much knowing that that was not the official event, that might not have been what really happened. Plus Jo's writnig is too unique to be copied.

No, not even if JKR herself wrote it. I প্রণয় HP very much, but to explain why I say this, let me borrow the words f Bill Watterson:
"When আপনি overcommercialize something, eventually, the public gets slightly bored with the series, and, eventually, forgets it altogether."
I couldn't have ব্যক্ত it better. HP is a great book, but if we keep making coffee mugs, "wands," and book sequels some people are going to get bored with it.
Twilight haters, recall when আপনি discovered SM was লেখা the Twilight বই from Edward's POV. One HP অনুরাগী said: "Why rewrite it? It's terrible already." So, if the sequels were to come out, a HP hater might respond: "Why write more? It's terrible enough already."
Note: Not all অনুরাগী will act like this, but a few will.
So, altogether, I don't think any আরো sequels should be written, for either book, especially if it is দ্বারা the same author.

Cheap way to get money and fame. So no way. I would even have disrespect for someone trying to rip off Stephanie Meyer. If আপনি create a piece of work its yours. That is mostly why I despise remakes. I go to some, but they 99.9% of the time fail. Same with বই it wouldnt feel the same.

If an HP অনুরাগী did it right, then HP fanfiction could actually be pulled off. Honestly, I think anyone could write better than Meyer, just saying...Don't mean to be offensive...

i would totally read something about twilight দ্বারা someone else. I totally encourage peoples ideas and not shoot them down because they r not the authors ideas. People have other great ideas and i would প্রণয় to read them.

It depends. The Wizard of Oz series has over forty বই and was written দ্বারা twenty-seven different authors. Those বই are amazing and they're, in no way, commercialized. Well, I guess আপনি could make a case for Wicked, but that's beside the point.

If the বই were about Harry অথবা the trio, অথবা the new generation, no. Harry has come full বৃত্ত and I don't think আপনি can develop his character anymore. The same goes for the Trio. Besides, any plot that is tried is just going to seem like a watered down version of Harry Potter. Even if JK wrote বই about Harry and the trio অথবা their kids, I don't think I'd read them.

But if it was a story about the Marauder era, অথবা the founders then it might be really, really cool. A lot of JKs অনুরাগী came away with different interpretations of her characters than she intended (*cough*Dracoand Severus*cough). Seeing those crucial characters from a অনুরাগী would be interesting.

অথবা even do a story about Dumbledore and his life (and what he was doing during those seven books).
