Why is this war between the two series? They don't even have something in common!

It had also bugged me in the past.
I didn't even understand,they didn't have anything in common!
If we were talking about the genre they where totally different.Twilight being an Romance-Drama-Fantasy type.Harry Potter being an Fantasy-Drama-Horror<-(that might include to some people)and a slight part of romance.
Of course, If we look back in the time where Breaking Dawn has been published,on the back of the book there was a small phrase saying:
-It's time for Harry Potter to back off& etc...
I guess alot of people saw them as 'similar' to one point.
In my opinion Twilight and Harrpotter are two different things,
HP is about courage,honour,friendship[i] while twilight is basically a [i]'forbidden love'.
If আপনি see things differently you'll notice that they both sold millions over the entire world!,and (if আপনি could count it as a related thing in common--) both the authors are almost the exact age and women.
I think that from the huge success from both চলচ্চিত্র and series,it's been a competition now that Twilight exists people want to know what's happening to Harry Potter.
--Or it is just the অনুরাগী from both fanclubs that are aware that the other spot might be better and simply try to express they're voices out loud,tending to exaggerate in terms of preferinces.

I don't understand it either, but I like to compare things. This should be a helthy discussion with civilized people, but sometimes people take things too far. We know it's just books, but we প্রণয় those বই and we don't want anyone insuling it. But even sometimes when someone says something politely, someone 'attacks'. I'm trying to speak for both twilight অনুরাগী and harry potter fans.

The problem is that the media and some অনুরাগী compare Twilight and Harry Potter. The media started it দ্বারা saying that Twilight was "the পরবর্তি Harry Potter". Now আপনি think that they dont have anythign in common, but I disagree with you. And even if they didnt have anything in common আপনি can STILL compare things like the message it gives on different matters, the writing, the quality etc. So I think it's perfectly normal to compare even though I personally think that Twilight cant ever be compared to Harry Potter because HP is on a whole different level of epicness. I dont like it when we attack each other either, but I really like pointing out WHY I think HP kicks Twilight's butt. And there is nothing wrong in that. It's just an intelligent discussion about litterature. My best friend is a Twilight অনুরাগী AND a HP fan, but I dont give her a hard time about it. We discuss why I disagree with her and that's it.

I'm glad that other people have this view, too. :)

I wish people would spend their time loving বই that they like instead of criticizing বই that they don't. বই are a form of enjoyment, which means আপনি are supposed to "enjoy" them. If আপনি don't like a book, good for you. Don't ruin it for other people.

Plus, does anyone really believe that these বই are going to be জনপ্রিয় in 50 years? Especially Twilight? Most people waste their time finding things to hate on that will have no real effect in the long run. We should just all ban together as অনুরাগী of বই instead of splitting apart for stupid reasons.

I think that everyone is sick of Twilight being the new big thing, because, well, Team Potter feels that HP is better! We're sick of Twilighters thinking that Twilight is some kind of phenomenon, when the truth is, it's just a bunch of screaming girls obsessing over fanfiction.

I dont want to offend nay HP অনুরাগী but its true that after twilight came out it kind of took all the fame and glamoure of HP tats why this war started

2 i dont like having lupin compared to jacob we all know lupins better

3 twilight is getting all the atenchion that good বই like harry potter deserve

4 twilight is just a fad while harry potter is actualy জনপ্রিয় and people who like twilight get mad when আপনি say so

5 some of my বন্ধু have started being nasty to me because i like harry potter abd not twilight

They do, Robert Pattinson was in both movies. Personally, I dont know why they have a war either. But I still support Twilight Saga আরো than Harry Potter (Sorry JK Rowling)
