7 Undeniable Facts as to Why HP beats Twilight

Harry Potter beats Twilight. Of course. But I really don't like it when HP অনুরাগী use opinion-ated "facts" when saying WHY Harry Potter is the better movie series. So, I, who am a major Potterhead, put together 7 true, solid, hard, and undeniable facts about certain aspects of the two movie series to prove why Harry Potter is the ultimate series.
**I will only be discussing the movies**

1) Soundtrack

Listen to this wonderful and memorable theme song. As আপনি may have guessed, the theme song belogs to Harry Potter : link

It's pretty, but it doesn't find a special place in your হৃদয় like HP's does. (BTW, this isn't one of my 7 facts, but finding just this lilnk took me about 30 min. Doesn't that prove that the majority of audiences prefer HP better, since I found the HP theme song in about... let's see... 2 seconds?)

2) Casting

Alan Rickman as Severus Snape
Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange.
Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall.
Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter
Emma Watson as Hermione Granger
Rupert Grint as Ronald Weasley
Gary Oldman as Sirius Black

The actors mentioned above are all in Harry Potter, and are all one of the শীর্ষ 30 actors in THE WORLD. Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson, and Jacob Black, who are three most important actors in the Twilight movie series. are wayyyy off the list. The actors in Twilight... well, let's just say that the অভিনয় is a bit stale.

3) Visual Effects

Harry Potter's visual effects are wonderful; filled with action, realistic details, and fantastic elements that Twilight could never achieve.
Twilight's visual effects: They are SO bad, I couldn't even find a link on YouTube. Sure, there were thousands of চলচ্ছবি titled "Worst Visual Effects in Twilight" but not a single one complimenting Twilight's visual effects.

4) Storyline

Harry Potter's plot is about a wizard who goes through may dramatic and unforgettable (not necessarily in a good way) adventures, which all lead up to the point where he finds out that he must be the one to kill the Darkest wizard of all time.

Twilight's plot is about a girl who has বিভক্ত করা feeling about who she loves. She tries not to get killed. Then she has a kid with one of those guys. Then they try not to get killed again. The end.

But I have to say, both are very original, but Harry Potter's storyline is much আরো timeless and appeals to a wider range of audience.

See? Even though Twilight is জনপ্রিয় amongst its fans, the pros are not so impressed. I mean HP 7 P2 even got a rare 96% and a rare 8.1 rating!! That's amazing.

In Conclusion. Many Twilighters argue that Twilight has had a bigger box office sucess, but that's not true. The least ticket-selling HP movie (#3) earned আরো money than the best selling Twilight movie (#4part2). Besides, numbers aren't everything. They don't make the film better. It just proves that Twilight has আরো অনুরাগী girls. Which also doesn't improve the film's সামগ্রিক quality. Some argue that RobPattz is hotter than Daniel Radcliffe. Well, first of all, that has nothing to do with the MOVIE, and second, him being attractive doesn't help the film either. cassie-1-2-3 1. Um what? All this shows me is that you're very bad at YouTube. That song, or whatever you linked, has nothing to do with the Twilight soundtracks. It's just some techno thing with Twilight pictures. It's not even a remix of a Song from any of the scores or soundtracks. 2. You mean that imaginary list you just made up in your head? Honestly, I doubt any of those actors would make it anywhere near an actual accredited "Top 30 Actors in the World" list. 3. Some would agree with you, some would not. That is not an undeniable fact. 4. See #3 5. That's not really proof of anything other than that Harry Potter has been nominated for Academy Awards. 6. I don't see what you mean, actually. I think they made a mistake in Harry Potter by allowing their actors to age quicker than their characters. Especially since they weren't fully grown like the Twilight actors. It would have looked better if they were filmed more seamlessly, but it's no big deal and I get than they need breaks every once in a while. 7. You're going to use Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB to measure critics acclaim? Good luck with that.

bri-marie 1. Um, did you read the description of the video? The person who posted the Twilight song? Yeah... he flat out says it's "my rendition of the Twilight theme song." Rendition doesn't mean "actually in the movie." But, either way, the fact that you like the Harry Potter music better than Twilight is an opinion, not a "undeniable fact." 2. I don't know where you got that list from, but there is no "top 30 actors" list (except for fan made ones on the AMC and IMdB websites. There's a "top grossing actors" list, where [i]some[/i] of the actors you made make an appearance. But, a) the information you give is faulty, because not all those actors you listed are top 30 grossing actors and b) that doesn't mean anything except Harry Potter starts make a lot of money. That doesn't mean they're better actors. Which, by the way, is also an opinion, not an "undeniable fact." 3. Also opinion. Also, the fact that there aren't any youtube videos about Twilight's good effects means, literally, nothing. 4. Opinion. 5. Lots of good movies haven't won awards. Lots of crappy movies have won awards. This point really doesn't mean much of anything. 6. LOTR and PotC released movies right after another as well (except for the break between the 3rd LOTR movie, and The Hobbit.. But, since the Hobbit's three movies are being released right after one another...) I guess this means that those series' are bad? By your logic, anyway. Again, this point really doesn't mean much of anything. Especially when the movies are based off books, so the pacing of when they're released is irrelevant. 5.Much like number five, this really doesn't mean much of anything. Lots of good movies have gotten horrible critics (Roger Ebert pretty much bashed Thor and admitted he found it so boring that he fell asleep). Lots of good movies have gotten good reviews. Shockingly enough, a person's opinion on a movie doesn't mean very much of anything when comparing it to a person's opinion on a completely different movie.

Rayne_Erode18 First of all, Twilight is a degrading movie/book series that nobody except pathetic girls like to read. Unlike Harry Potter, Twilight is stuck in the same damn setting, whereas in Harry Potter, they travel to different places. On another note, all the characters in Twilight are Mary Sues. Mary Sues are BAD. I repeat. Mary Sues are BAD. See Mary-Sue. A female fanfiction character who is so perfect as to be annoying. The male equivlalent is the Marty-Stu. Often abbreviated to "Sue". A Mary Sue character is usually written by a beginning author. Often, the Mary Sue is a self-insert with a few "improvements" (ex. better body, more popular, etc). The Mary Sue character is almost always beautiful, smart, etc... In short, she is the "perfect" girl. The Mary Sue usually falls in love with the author's favorite character(s) and winds up upstaging all of the other characters in the book/series/universe. There are several main types of Mary Sue: Victim!Sues: The Victim!Sue is your whiny, wimpy, pathetic female character who can't seem to do much of anything except cry and get herself into trouble that the romantic interest of the fic has to rescue her from. Warrior!Sues: The Warrior!Sue is usually loud, obnoxious and (of course) an amazing warrior. She'll usually have some tragic past that led her to become a warrior, and she'll upstage all of the Canonical characters with her mad Sueish powerz. Mage!Sue: Similar to the Warrior!Sue, the Mage!Sue has amazing stregnth in magic, or has a magical power that nobody else has. alexisn10 1. The Twilight scores are pretty well done and the actual soundtracks are awesome. Besides, Twilight shares composers with Harry Potter and even Lord of the Rings (Eclipse guy did all LOTR films and the Hobbit and French New Moon guy did Harry Potter 7/8) 2. Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter, Maggie Smith, Gary Oldman, and Ralph Fiennes are all fine actors nevertheless. Them being on this list makes sense. But Dan, Emma, and Rupert. I mean, they're good actors to me but considering that it's a list of only 30 of the greatest actors of all time I'm sure they would put Daniel Day Lewis, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, and Meryl Streep before them. 3. I agree 4. I agree 5. You forgot Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2's nominations :( I say the same thing for Lord of the Rings, an Oscar doesn't make the film any better. I used to think otherwise but it's true. The Avengers didn't win anything this year yet it's still one of the (in my opinion at least, the best was Django) best films of 2012. Same goes for The Hobbit. Hunger Games was also seen as one of the best films of 2012 and it wasn't even nominated for anything. 6. That doesn't really make the films better... 7. All a critic's opinion (I used to think otherwise). There were a handful of critics that called Harry Potter mediocre and a handful that called them genius. There were a ton of critics that even called genius films mediocre.

And frankly, I agree. Stephanie Meyer, লেখক of the Twilight series, has gotten her share of criticism, but also many undeserved raving fans. I’m going to take a closer look at her সেকেন্ড book in this series, New Moon.
New Moon Is quite possibly the just all-around worst book in the series, and I will tell আপনি why.

One, Edward leaves Bella, and she turns into a zombie-like wreck. She abandons all of her friends, instead focusing what little personality she has on hatred for Edward...

I cannot stress strongly enough the contempt I have for the franchise of Twilight. অথবা at least the book. The films are আরো funny than anything else, and honestly I don't hate any of the cast an crew working on it. Having read the উৎস material, I can see they had little to work with.
Harry Potter, on the other hand... I like. I don't প্রণয় it; I'm no Potterhead দ্বারা any means, however much I might have been in the past. But it will always hold a very special place for me. I grew up with the বই and films, পাঠ করা and seeing them years apart from each other - growing up along with the characters...
