These are my reasons as to why people like Harry Potter আরো than Edward Cullen:

1. Harry has flaws - anger, sometimes arrogance and a few more. These flaws make Harry a character with depth, and also a character that we can relate to. Nobody can be perfect in the real world – our flaws are what make us human. The saying “Perfection…is apt to be dull” explains a lot – Edward is an extremely flat character. We only ever hear how hot he is, and never about his personality. And in my opinion, Edward is not hot – thus, the poor sparklepire has nothing left.

2. Harry is not abusive, while Edward is. Edward constantly manipulates Bella, and even removes the engine from her car to stop her visiting a friend. He also kidnapped her for the same reasons. Harry respects Ginny, and would never take extreme measures such as these to stop her from going out. Harry would also never force an abortion upon Ginny, which Edward attempts in Breaking Dawn.

3. Harry is not bipolar - he can be moody, but he doesn't change moods every five minutes. Edward's constant mood swings, as well as confusing the reader, make him an unrealistic and undesirable person.

4. Harry is very independent – the deaths of his parents, godfather and mentor made him willing to take on Voldemort single-handedly and stop the deaths of innocent people. Edward is utterly unable to do anything unless he has at least two family members behind him to help.

5. Harry is an extremely selfless person. He always worries that his বন্ধু will die because of him, and eventually sacrifices his own life to protect the people he loves. When has Edward ever done this? Oh, that’s right – never.

6. Harry is intelligent in his own right, while Edward’s brains only come from পাঠ করা the minds of his teachers. Oh, and repeating high school over and over again.

7. Harry can truly pity his mortal enemy, making him infinitely stronger than him. He realises that there are things worse than death, and he is also able to accept the fact that he will die.

8. Harry is not a pedophile; Edward is. Harry is only one বছর older than Ginny, while Edward is ninety-one years older than Bella when he sleeps with and impregnates her.

9. Harry is in love with Ginny, not lusting for her as Edward does for Bella. Harry did not marry Ginny because of her smell; he married her because he truly loved and cared for her. Ginny was able to accept the reasons for Harry ending their relationship, and was also able to সরানো on. Harry constantly worried for Ginny’s safety when he was hunting the Horcruxes, but he realised that defeating Voldemort (thus ending the war and making thousands of people happy) was far আরো important than being with the person he loves (and making himself happy).

10. Harry may not have looks to rival a Greek god, but he is still good-looking. However, this is not his most defining feature. Harry’s personality, which I’ve discussed above, is what makes him attractive. His bravery and courage, selflessness and empathy, প্রণয় and compassion are far আরো desirable than Edward’s sparkles.

As I said, feel free to add আরো reasons অথবা criticize mine. However, attacking a person's opinion only serves to present the attacker as a callous person that doesn't respect the fact that every human on the planet is entitled to their own opinions. I'm not saying this as a way of self-preservation; I'm trying to make this spot a better place to be.
