Potter has been around for 10 years and kids worldwide have grown up with it. Even adults like it. Harry Potter is adored by both males and females and all ages. Twilight, on the other hand, is only liked by teenage girls and mothers. Not to mention that Twilight's hate-group is larger than the fan base itself. It's not only Harry Potter fans that hate it but also Lord of the Rings fans, Star Wars fans, Hunger Games fans, and basically everyone on Tumblr and 9gag. Guy's hate Twilight, too. Most of them only watch it to either laugh or are dragged by their girlfriends to watch it. All of the Harry Potter movies have made more money than the Twilight movies. The least financially successful Harry Potter movie (I think was Goblet of Fire) made $90 million more than the most successful Twilight movie (New Moon). And I understand Twilight. I was a Twilight fan, too. Longer than Harry Potter, in fact. But by the time I turned 16 I understood that Twilight was just not my cup of tea anymore. I don't like Twilight so I don't know what love is. Since when is a random guy following you around love? Since when is a man basically telling you everyday that he wants to eat you love? Since when is marrying a man only to have sex with him love? Lily sacrificed herself to save her son giving him a shield that would protect him from Voldemort for 17 years. Snape love Lily and saved Harry, knowing that a part of her was in him. Draco loved his family which was why he wanted to kill Dumbledore even though he didn't want to. Although they treated him awfully, Harry loved the Dursleys which is why he saved them from being tortured. Harry loved Hogwarts and the rest of the Wizarding World which is why he sacrificed himself to save it. THAT, my friend, is love. posted বছরখানেক আগে.

And the Twilight track tag is actually extremely active. I'd also like to point out that, just because something is around longer, doesn't mean it has more fans. The Hunger Games hasn't been around long at all, at it's already number three for box-office earnings, and has a following to rival HP (and Twilight).
