It would be so cool to be vampire wizard =D but i'd like to be a vampire : -run super fast -be super strong -possibly have a power -live forever. Honestly, I think there are more benefits to being a vampire.. OF Course there is the difficulty of hunting humans/animals, I'm already a vegetarian so it would be real hard to get used to.

wizard... all of the vampire reasons just sound superficial to me.

You do lots of things if your a wizard, for one thing you can make vampires explode or cast some sun spell so they get burned down. Wizards can also save your life, Vampires just sparkle at you or suck your blood if they want to. The possibilities are endless with Magic. I agree with makintosh and TwilightSUCKS.

I am much more used to the fact that to be a real vampire would be a curse... life as you knew it is at an end, you are no longer you, the ones you love and cherish all die around you eventually, you are a slave to the day, so one and so forth. Being a wizard means you have that extra life span (Dumbledore was in his 150's when he died, and would have lived even longer had he not been cursed) so there is the benefit of longevity, but with a more realistic touch. And magic can pretty much compensate for most any gift a vampire in this sense of the term would have.

I've been picturing myself as a witch a God knows how many years. But I'd love o be a vampire too. The thing is that since this is Twiligh VS Harry Potter I pick witch because then I would have to be a Twilight vampire and I will be tortured in hell before that happens. But a real vampire... that is so tempting.
Well if I had to choose what I want to be, whatever that is, I would pick either a witch like the Charmed Ones either a vampire like the Buffy-verse ones.

Who wouldn't want to go to Hogwarts? And besides, you can do a lot more things as a witch/wizard than a vampire. Besides wizards can be immortal if they really wanted to, make some Horcruxes or something. If you want super speed, buy a firebolt (plus, you can FLY while being super fast)Use levitation to lift heavy objects if you want super strength. Umm, I think that about covers it. =D

Ever since I was little I have fatasized about vampires, how I could draw them, the personalities and gifts that make them unique.
The magaical names and the chainging of appearances.
Being able to meet your loved one over and over again, every day, running through forests and watching how the life and earth changes.
Vampires have flaws, they have to learn to resist a humans blood,
and then, one day, you would become a beautiful creature.

I would not enjoy performing magic.
I'd probably see it as a form of manipulating nature and feel guilty. I also wouldn't decide to just make things easier for myself or others.

I wouldn't enjoy the idea of drinking blood either, unless thr supply is already dead. (I'm unsure of the circumstances concerning a living or a dead supply)

wizards can do everything that the vampires can do and many other things plus riding a broomstick or playing quidditch and going to hogwarts and learnings tons of spells would be so cool and vampires are slaves of blood and sunlight.

I like Twilight and Harry Potter-but I don't want to be a vampire. You have to suck the blood out of animals (or people) for an eternity. Either you kill yourself or get killed. Sure, you have one special power. But wizards can do everything every vampire can do. There are speed potions, luck charms, pain curses, legilemency. And Harry Potter characters get to eat Sugar Quills and Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans. And get to go to Hogwarts instead of Forks.
And quidditch. We get to fly on broomsticks, watching the jealous faces of vampires below us. (:

Being a vampire is awesome, but being a witch would be a much better fit for me. That way, I could eat solid food without hurting my stomach.

To be apart go J.K Rowling's gorgeously constructed and greatly subtle world is a dream! To be able to make a living at the Ministry or attend the Quidditch Cup or visit Diagon Alley - it's just amazing.

@cassie-1-2-3 animal blood keeps them sane (keeps them from not blowing their spot) but human blood almost drives them off a wall 24/7. Trying to resist the urge to suck their blood (seeing how incredibly easy it is) for their entire lives sounds dreadful...

Still, you don;t have to live in a community of people. You could even give in to the craving if you want. The Cullens were the only vampires who were constantly resisting urges. This pick doesn't specify the Cullens.

Well, I guess that's true, too. But still, I feel like the other vampires were almost like slaves for blood and The Cullens were the only sane ones. Even if it meant killing someone you cared for just for human blood, vampires would do it and the thirst they have to bare through when they need blood sounds painful...
