where is the both options?? they have both written totally different books that are obviously both succsseful

I honestly couldn't say. They've both wrote incredibly popular and successful stories.

In the writing department, I do think Stephenie has a leg up over JK, because Stephenies's written more than just one good book/series....aside from Twilight, she wrote the Host, which I personally LOVED.

JK has just written HP, and while I am a HUGE HP fan, I can't really judge her writing or talent because HP is only one series to go on, while Stephenie has written two completely different books/series, both of which I really liked.

I don't think one of them DESERVES success more than another though. They're both good writer's who've written incredibly popular books that have been turned into films and franchises....lets just leave it at that :)

@KateKickAss: If you are looking for some non-HP Rowling, I would take a look at her Harvard speech. It is quite lovely, heartfelt, and well-written.
