No I absoulubtley DO NOT think she went overboard! That book was the best out of all of them!! It was soooo cool! Sure the deaths were sad, but that's life!
No, I definitely don't think she went overboard. But what made me enjoy the last book a bit less was the constant camping around and how they spent nearly half of the book trying to find the first horcrux. And the epilogue. But that's just me.
