Luna first appears in Order of the Phoenix, and is a dreamy, wacky, loony, but also very sweet girl who gets made fun of a lot, but soon becomes sort of awkward বন্ধু with the gang.

Luna first appears in The Order of the Phoenix and she is in Ravenclaw. She is quite strange but she relates with Harry because they both have seen death and can see the Thestrals.
luna is xeno lovegood's daughter he is the owner and editor of the quibbler she is also a member of dumbledores army and enters the story in book 5 as she also can see the thestrals that only harry can see.

Lovegood is a silly little girl who we almost were able to follow into the room of requirement. I still remember her skipping down the hallway oblivious to our presence.
