I have always considered myself a Hufflepuff and everyone jokes that Hufflepuff is the worst House. In the books, this House is kind of singled out as the bad House. Personally, I think that the traits of a Hufflepuff are good traits to have: Loyalty, hard-working, trustworthy, fair.
I always pictured it as the "blah" house. I mean, it's like Slytherin and Gryffindor are the main houses, and everyone else got put in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.
I love Hufflepuff. It was generally characterized badly by Slytherins, who don't care much about loyalty, but I think it's a very important trait. Hell, isn't treason one of the worst sins you can commit? Judas in the seventh level of Hell?
Also, I am very Hufflepuffish too, duckey. And rarely did a bad seed ever sprout from Hufflepuff.
Tonks was a Hufflepuff. And I think (cannot be sure) she said in an interview her favorite houses, based on what she values in other people. The first was of course, Gryffindor, and I think the rest of the ladder went Hufflepuff, then Ravenclaw, then Slytherin.
I think they are all great. I don't think Hufflepuff is BAD, okay? But the best one (I think) is Slytherin (for the things I appreciate), because they work a lot to get what they want and need, and they are real persons, not machines wanting to save the world or that. Then, Ravenclaw is pretty cool too, I mean, they are intelligent, they want to know more, they get what they want, but by other ways. Gryffindors have got to be respected, because I know, they are brave and they would give their lifes for every single person that may need it (I think that's foolish, but I respect it. I might admire it, but I wouldnt do it) And then It comes Hufflepuff, and they are great friends, they are fair, they are hardworkers. I admire them too. But I think that I'd prefer to be in the other houses (yeah, well, I don't like Gryffindor much either) than in Hufflepuff because of what I think it's better for a person.
Hufflepuffs is the misfits. There's nothing wrong with the house, but they're pretty boring.
They arent smart enough to be in Ravenclaw, brave enough to be in Gryffindor, or evil enough to be in Slytherin haha
For instance, Slytherin
Took only pure-blood wizards
Of great cunning, just like him,
And only those of sharpest mind
Were taught by Ravenclaw
While the bravest and the boldest
Went to daring Gryffindor,
Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest,
And taught them all she knew
Good Hufflepuff, she took THE REST! Poor Hufflepuffs! :(
*Rolls eyes at all the people who said that Hufflepuff is just the house for the rest, the crowd that isn't "good enough" to be in any of the other houses*.
Seriously? Did you read the books? From the get go, Hufflepuff is established as the house for the fair, loyal and hard-working. Yes, in one of the books (The Goblet of Fire, I think) it is also said that it takes the rest, but that's just because Helga Hufflepuff was a kind woman.
Anyway, I think Hufflepuff's values are the most admirable.
I really like all the houses, but Ravenclaw is my personal favourite, followed by either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, and then Slytherin. I've actually always had a soft spot for Hufflepuff; I like what it stands for.
Also, I am very Hufflepuffish too, duckey. And rarely did a bad seed ever sprout from Hufflepuff.

Altho, I would rather be in ravenclaw than Hufflepuff, but still...
Revenclaw- for the clever and witty
Slytherin- for the powerful and determined
Hufflepuff- whats left of the crowd.
sorry but thats how i see it.Well in my mind slytherin is for the greedy but still..
