Holy crap.

I dunno how, but I completely missed the correlation between the patient's brother dying and House's involvement with Amber's death...

Man, I have a much higher appreciation for this episode now...

I don't know if that hit home for House, I mean, I really don't think it's the same situation. I think he was stunned and seemed sad just for the fact that it was indeed a serious and tragic situation for her. Not that he cared or because it eminded him of AMber, but because House, no matter what he says, knows when things are really bad. It reminded me of that episode when the mother kills the baby (the one with the drunk husband... what that "Forever"?) He is sensitive to tragedies. He takes them just as they are: there's no solution. Well, maybe it does relates to Amber... although the guilt of the patient is more reasonable than House's.

I agree with blaukat for the most part.

But I do have to say I love Barbara's blogs on House. She always does a great job of analyzing things and interviewing those involved with the show.

These were my thoughts exactly as I was watching the episode.
But I studied House more than I did Foreman, so It's nice to read a little more about him.
