Here is a theory. What do you think? Ted Mosby is an Architect. Wesleyan has no Architecture major. He also taught Architecture at Columbia which seemingly would require at least a graduate degree. There is a Christmas episode where Barney wears some of Ted's casual clothes when he is sick in Ted's bed. Barney is wearing a Cornell Tee shirt, which is presumably Teds shirt. Being that Cornell has arguably the best Architecture program in the Ivy League, I think that Ted may well have gotten his Architecture degree from Cornell University. Plausible theory?
