i enjoyed it..had a lot of good moments, some OTT. will be back later with more.

I enjoyed it. Not one of their strongest ever, but still fun. I was a bit confused by one thing, how evil it made Stella seem. Seriously, how big a bitch is she that after leaving a guy at the alter she'd let her boyfriend write a movie twisting everything he ever did to make him look like the world's biggest jerk? Talk about twisting the knife. It didn't really fit with what we saw of her in the past to me, I had a hard time seeing her be ok with doing something so incredibly lousy.

Maybe Tony wrote the original story, and the director or the other writers decided it was boring and tried to spice it up. Obviously the audience loved it. I really liked this episode for different reasons. It acknowledged that fact that Ted got left at the alter, it had pretty good jokes, and it was the best in a while. Does anyone else feel that this season has been kinda boring at times? The episode quality just wasn't as good.

totally agreed with mermaidtail (hmm this seems to happen quite a bunch :P) they could have at least had stella call s.th along the lines of ted saying "i just got a message from stella *insert cryptic HEY SO SORRY THINGS GOT WEIRD message* i wonder what that was all aboot - but i am soooo not calling her back" and THEN show him at the movie.
i liked the baggage props, i like the actress who plays ted love interest..so much i have no idea what she is called :P, i liked the absence of don...somehow don doesnt do it for me- he seems boring and old compared to the rest of the gang and i liked barneys "who the kiss".

I loved that the 'major' joke was back!

I really hate to say this but IMO the episode sucked as much as brown shoes with a black suit. It didn't feel HIMYM-y to me. Maybe it was too much hype for The Wedding Bride, even to look forward to it. Was kinda disappointing. Only things I liked was the major joke and Barney swearing at the movie.

Agree with nphturtle, the season definitely felt kinda boring sometimes. This episode was one of these times. Last week I even thought HIMYM was back to its original awesomeness but it was a thing too soon to say, I guess. Here's hoping for a major finale...

I liked it. Especially Barney in the movie theater. I didn't like that they made Stella seem like a complete bitch because I don't believe that Stella would have let Tony do that. But then again Ted does exgaggerate things and maybe the director did decide to take a different route like one of you said.

i loved this episode, cause im simple minded and the movie was so funny....

It was pretty good had some pretty funny moments! Don't know how that movie couold POSSIBLY get into the top 5 movies of all time or something? Not possible! But it was good :)
