I have to pick series one but that is only because I am presuming you haven't seen any of the episodes therefore the best place to start is at the very begining. However all of my favourite episode (Arrivederci Fiero, Atlantic City, Swarley) were all in the second season so I guess it depends on if you have seen it before or not!

i've seen scattered episodes (they were LEGENDARY!!!!) and want to finally buckle down and commit to the series!! so i was curious as to where to begin or if anyone had any recommendations~ thanks so much for your input!!! :0)

Season one got me started on it obviously it's the first... But like germany said you should buy them both if you can!

actually ive given it some thought...i think you need to get season 1! i didnt realize you hadnt watched it regularly...with all the flashbacks and clever storylines you cant appreciate season 2 as much if you didnt see what went on in season 1...the re-return, barney in SF etc i dont want to spoil anything but the story really has a lot of continuity so better to watch all the episodes in sequel!

It's true. You should start from th beginning, specially in this show because there are may stories that you see again in season 2 or 3.

But I loooove season 2! It's amazing.
