The Protector

Chapter 1

Greg House walked into his office with a blue file ready to face his team and solve a new case. Lisa Cuddy walks in shortly after him.
“So what do we have today?” Thirteen asks.
“Lisa would আপনি please leave?” House replies.
“No I want to hear what আপনি have.” Lisa says.
“Trust me আপনি don’t” House says back.
“House read the damn report.”
“You’ll be sorry.”
“23 বছর old rape victim with hallucinations, migraines, and severe abdominal pain.”
Lisa looks at Greg and the team and suddenly leaves the office. House knows a nerve has been struck but continues to lecture his team. When done lecturing he makes his way to Dr. Cuddy’s office. He walks in and sees her in tears.
“I asked আপনি to leave” House said.
“That poor girl how is she doing?”
“She’ll be fine after time and some counseling, quit pretending this doesn’t bring back memories of your rape.” “I’m here if আপনি need me Lisa”

“That was the most horrible night of my life but আপনি were there and rescued me if আপনি had not been there who knew what that monster would have done to me. Besides the fact that he severely beat me up and raped me he could have done worse. He could have killed me.”
“Lisa I only regret that I hadn’t been there 5 মিনিট sooner, maybe I could have stopped him.”
“It wasn’t your fault Greg.”
“I know but if I had been there sooner…”

They both get up to leave the hospital and arrive at Dr. Cuddy’s house.

‘Thanks but I would feel আরো comfortable if আপনি slept in my বিছানা with me.”
Shocked at what he was hearing Greg looked suspiciously at her.
“Lisa I really don’t think that’s a great…”
“Please Greg I’m scared.”
“Whatever আপনি need.”
“Thank you!”
Greg and Lisa walked into Lisa’s room and she got dressed for বিছানা in her bathroom. Greg laid down on the right side of her বিছানা and waited for her to come to bed.
“Are আপনি sure this is a good idea?”
“Yes. I need you. I feel নিরাপদ when I’m with you.”
“Okay.”
She lies down in বিছানা পরবর্তি to him and covers herself up with the sheet and blanket.
“Goodnight House.”
“Goodnight Cuddy.”
It starts to storm outside raindrops pouring down. Thunder strikes and she wakes up silently shrieking. It had stormed the night she was raped and now she was having আরো flashbacks to that horrible night.
“Greg, hold me” she whispers and shakes House awake.
“Are আপনি okay?”
“No, hold me I’m terrified.”
“Lisa nothing is going to happen to you.”
She wraps her arms around his chest and pulls herself closer to him. He wraps an arm around her and assures her that she is okay. Finally she falls asleep with her head rested on his chest and he falls asleep soon after she does.
