As everyone said in the comments over there....it is a terrific idea even if it turns out to be off base. Wasn't House supposed to go to New Orleans on a trip around this time and the idea got scrapped due to budgetary constraints?

Ehhh....im still not buying the argument. I appreciate it for its hopefulness and i think parts of it are viable but too much relies on hallucination/dreams. maybe some of it will be?

that blind item about the pregnancy...i keep getting drawn back to it. i cant help but read them even though the chances of it applying to us are so minimal

I hope I don't have my hopes too up, but it certainly feels a lot better than I did Monday night. I mean, Huddy's a BIG thing for the show. Why on earth WHY would they just suddenly end it like this? As the speculator comments, why not make their break up a slow burn and milk it for the storyline? It just doesn't make sense. And Cuddy's a doctor, for cryin' out loud! If anybody understands substance abuse and dependence, it would be a doctor! So why bail on the relationship??? (For the record, I don't blame Cuddy. I blame writers.)

I re-watched Recession Proof & Bombshells after reading this speculation.... and they both made a lot more sense to me...House`s subconscious was always a very interesting part of the show, so I wouldn`t mind if last episode would turn out to be a "dream"

I'm kind of tired of hallucinations and dream sequences, but I'll take ANYthing if we can have Huddy back.

Wow. This TV fiction is really affecting me. And so many others. It's scary.

I believe there is a good chance in this or something in relation to this...she backed everything up with substantial facts and arguments. Plus, the season doesn't end until May....we got time for that wiggle room :)

My thoughts: Drug addiction is a serious matter. House made a trek to get rid of drugs, and here the authors know that you can not joke.
Recall that in the 6 season finale, destroyed and defeated, when he thought that all the objectives of his life had become unreachable, has had many doubts before making the Vicodin.
Why now? In Two Stories admits “i need her in my life, you know what it means to really need someone” So Cuddy is his Vicodin.
In 7x14 admits for the first time to be happy with her and will always choose her.
I wonder, why do drugs again?
Now he can not make sense to destroy His life, he can die! But, all that we’ve seen in season 5. Repeat is typical of writers with no ideas, I do not think our case.
Cuddy’s dreams are really his, or house is to see how it could be her life without her?
I think House now have to go further, the character should develop in a positive and Bombshell is its prologue.
It will never be a bad thing for the show, indeed.

I have serious doubts that events will unfold as outlined in this speculation, but I suspect that "something's up." I mean, the writers/PowersThatBe have SERIOUSLY upset a LOT of viewers across the globe. Even the anti-Huddy folks hate the way the story was handled. In a way, this hatred has united most of us to rally behind House's right to be happy. Perhaps intentional espionage? I am SO not looking forward to tomorrow's episode. But like an ugly car wreck, I have to look.
