What I read is that Cuddy is looking to buy a House.
And as House and Wilson are looking for one too, so I guess that's why she's asking him, but they pick the same House.
I also read that Cuddy want to move in with Lucas.

Not sure if this 100% true though, about the Luddy, though.

I think it would be a little bit early for Cuddy to move in with Lucas. I mean she didn't have any serious relationship in the last 5-6 years or more and now she's planning to buy a house with Lucas?

Wilson moved in with Amber pretty fast too so..

You're right. But we all know how is Wilson with women :) He's had three wives and he lived with that patient of him (don't know which episode but there was this 'healing with faith and God' guy).

Yes. But Cuddy now has Rachel and she wants a permanent man in her daughter's life. And I can't blame her. But I think she doesn't love Lucas. She based her entire relationship with House on the fact that they've had a one-night-stand and nothing more. But now she knows that House wanted her in the last 20 years. She should be confused and maybe terrified and tries to escape from the newfound situation.

They're ruining Cuddy for me and it's soooooo heartbreaking! I can see where she's a mom and wants stability blah blah blah, but she's also been an independant single mother for a year and right when House takes a turn for the worst THAT'S when they give her a boyfriend?!? Like over the past 6 years wouldn't have been a good time. Could Cuddy with all of her feelings for House..and I'm talking friendship and/or love...just see him go off to a mental institution and say..hey it'd be nice to date now. And Lucas of all people, he's an idiot, and seems like her little brother, even from last season what little screentime they shared they had no chemistry and looked awkward. Then the scene at the table where Lucas knew everything that happened to House, I was kind of put off at the fact that she would tell him all of the personal details of what House went through knowing he didn't even want her to know. Idk...I know they're trying to build something up here and they keep saying in the "Huddy" direction, but to me it's all making Cuddy look bad and I hate it!

AHuddyHeart - I agree with you. When I watched the scene at the table I had to stop the video because I couldn't believe what I saw. At first I thought that I didn't understand it completely because English is not my native language but I realized that I've heard everything correct.
I am so disappointed with Cuddy. She was always angry with House when he messed up his friends personal life, especially hers. BUT he kept her secret about the IVF all the time! He never mentioned it to anyone because it was her biggest secret and he understood it. And what she's doing? She tells Lucas everything about the delusions - in other words: she tells House's secret about the feelings towards her. And when Lucas is babbling about it, she doesn't say a word like shut up or something. Just sitting there, embarrassed.
Some fans are complaining that the House-Cuddy relationship is making Cuddy look like a teenager girl with crush. I think the Lucas-scenario is the thing that makes her independent power woman character (what I liked and adored in her) fading away.

I hate this season for Cuddy. playingcold and AHuddyHeart are right they are making her look bad!!!!!!! I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Huddy!!! But this is ridiculous!!!!

I understand why she had to tell Lucas about the delusion mainly because he would need to know why she was keeping him a secret. However, Lucas knew that was confidential info and knew if he brought that up it would make things worse. She probably never thought he would do something like that to hurt House, but like I have said before, he is smarter than he appears. Lucas knew what he was doing rambling on like that. He was trying to burn a bridge between House and Cuddy while staking his claim on Cuddy at the same time.
Cuddy probably was feeling so many different emotions when House was away that she fell into a convienent relationship with Lucas based mostly on loneliness. She missed House and Lucas is House-like and she knew he was taken by her, so she kind of went with the flow. Now, that he seems to be a nice fatherly figure to Rachel has made her place more importance on him than initially.
I think that Cuddy was doing a similar thing to what House did with Lydia. She was trying to connect to someone because the one she wanted most was gone.
As for the last five years, I think that the reason they didn't get together was because House was still so caught up on losing Stacy the first and second time, and then he became afraid of going through the same kind of rejection with Cuddy. Cuddy tried to reel him in last season but as it has been said countless times they are always on different pages when it comes to their non-relationship relationship. However, now that she knows the truth about what transpired twenty years ago I think she will be looking at House and their relationship in a whole new way.

I completey and utterly agree with rosehustle1, and because I will defend Cuddy to my dying days, I really can't blame her at all, in fact I'm glad that she's trying to be happy.

Has anyone forgot that House hasn't been too kind to Cuddy, she tried to "reel him in" as rosehustle put it above and although that may not have been the smartest thing to do with House, she was hurt and I think all she wants is some happiness and not to be alone. Can you really blame a woman for settling on a man who not only thinks she hangs the moon, but acts a father figure for Rachel and is dependable?

People complain that she's changed, she's never needed a man before....etc.....I disagree. I think Cuddy's been looking for a man since season 1, House points it out in season 4, "for someone to jump on you and tell you they love you one grunted syllable at a time". She's always been looking for love, which is why she acted so dramatically last season when she thought she had a chance with House, and why she desperatly uses internet dating etc....she's finally found a guy who isn't being scared off and looks like he might stay....can you blame her for wanting to settle?

i agree - try to stop seeing this from a huddy view, for a moment. If you were Cuddy, honestly and sincerely, after trying to get a guy from like 6 years and being unsuccesful, with a baby, and she has a choice between a reliable, clever, funny, good looking guy with a probably quite a lot of money who will stick around and love her openly and clearly, and a guy who is admittedly clever, funny and good looking but is really unreliable, just recovering from a stint in a mental institution, can't make up his mind over whether he loves her and even if he does is liable to flake off or something, whose overly dramatic and unprodictable, who would you chose? As much as i love House and Huddy, I think the choice is pretty clear right now, isn't it?

Of course this isn't long term, though - Eventually it will come down to the fact she loves House, won't it? You can't chose who you love. You can't love someone because you want to, and eventually she will realize she can't love Lucas and then...

Well, i'm just saying i agree with the two above me whole heartedly.

babybell, good points. I think that there are so many sides to look at in this situation. That is the best thing about a show that has been on this long and with as much loose ends and history as it has. We can turn all of the relationships upside, inside out and sideways and see it all from different points of view.
