I'm curious as to what he sounds like too. I've only been able to find short clips of some material from when he was with 'Ghost of the Robot'. I'd like to hear at least one complete song of his, before I'd decide to buy a CD. If I liked it, then it would just be a matter of getting the money to buy it.
...and amazondebs is right, just because you didn't know before is no reason you can't start. I'm not trying to compare him to 'The Beatles', but look at how long it's been since their albums were first released, and yet new people become fans all the time. The same is true for a lot of different performers. I didn't become familiar with a lot of performers (musical, actors, etc.) until after they were gone, yet it doesn't make their work any less impressive.
