“Demi [Lovato] has been a friend of mine for a long time,” the singer, 20, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio প্রদর্শনী Friday about his former girlfriend, 17, who’ll be opening for the Jonas Brothers when they kick-off their tour Aug. 7.
“I think that our friendship is so strong that it surpasses a lot of things and I think touring will be a lot of fun,” says Jonas. The couple বিভক্ত করা in May, three months after going public with their relationship.
And life post-breakup for the two hasn’t been awkward. In fact, it’s “definitely been cool,” Jonas says, adding that the two saw each other recently at a Hollywood event and have been “trying to get together and hang out before we go on tour together.”
But as for jumping back into the dating game, Jonas isn’t rushing. “I’m just a single dude about to go on tour,” he says.
