Edward and Kim!!

No need to ask!!! Edward was just so innocent, a wallflower! I know that this is usually said about girls, but it's true about him! It was his first spring and this was his first bud of love!!! He wasn't looking for it, he didn't even know what it was, it just happent! And he believed in it blindly up until the point it took everything from him! That was actually the only bad thing in this love!

About Axel and Grace.........what can i say??? I didn't like them together! They were very young too, it could have been their first love, but he had already slept with her step-mother! I didn't like him with Elaine either! Not because of the age gap itself! If she had so much fallen in love with him particularly, that she couldn't help it, i would say it was okey! But she had fooled around before with his friend Paul! I think the reason why she finally chose Axel was because he was more obidient and more easily manipulated! Besides, i allways had the feeling that she was constantly trying to prove to her step-daughter who the fresh and atractive still was!!!!!!!!!

All in all, i didn't like the pairings in "Arizona Dream". There was a great dose of hysteria in everything! The situation was nocive and even the environment was toxic for him ( all the tragic memories of his adolescence)!

To be completly honest though, i didn't like much either of the couples competing here! Kim and Edward's love was sweet,but at the end was one of the most tragic on-screen love-stories of all time!!!!! I mostly liked the love on Edward's part and, although they both lacked courage to fight for their love, she was more to blame! She handled the situation horribly!!!!!! And the long-term results of their relationship in their lives were bad: for him the relationship became a tumbstone that shut him away from the world for ever, for her it became a bitter taste in the mouth and a rinkle in her face before she even got old, for both of them a bitter-sweet memory!!!!!!!!

What infuriated me the most jn this movie was that Edward, although the least responsible, was punished most severely!!!!! Kim at least made her family! Edward's was like donkey's sin in the fable of Aesopus!!!!!!!!!
