Karen Harding back in Autumn, when she’d come down from County Durham to promote her new single, \'Say Something\'. It’s about to be released on Method Records, and her nu school Whitney Houston style dance vibes have been attracting the ears of Mistajam, garage legend Wookie and MNEK.

A natural in front of the camera, we dragged her through the bushes of Portobello Road to shoot these exclusive MTV images. Though she’s only 23, Karen’s modelled and been signed, all in between juggling a stint on The X Factor.

“I wouldn’t do it again,” Karen says about her time on the show. Openly candid about the nature of X, it looks like she didn’t need the SyCo signing to make her own waves as an artist.

Scooped up by super producer MNEK who contacted her out of the blue, Karen’s worked with him on ‘Say Something’, and it shows. The track exudes the producer’s distinct \'80s synthy fragrance, and it’s the sort of dance anthem you want to be hearing to shake the pounds that won’t budge from Christmas.
