If they spent the rest of their lives in romance only to go to heaven with their "soulmates", I feel like it would cheapen their love. 	roadidendrum picked They married and lived an intense and romantic romance until they died: Sadly I think the writers wanted us to realise that Sawyer and Kate never got together after they left the island for good. If they did, they would've shown us in flash forwards and they wouldn't have had Sawyer and Juliet together in the after life :/ Which totally sucks.
