I think that it is unlikely that Sarah fnas would make up the vast majority of Labyrinth fans. Sarah's character, whilst inspiring and strong in her convictions, pales in comparison to Jareth - not only does he appeal to the আরো simple-minded with his appearance and voice, but his character is much আরো intricate and involved than Sarah's. Sarah is an empty canvas for others to paint their own প্রতিমূর্তি on - she's easy to empathis with, as she lives out a pretty average life 9as so many do) and is প্রদত্ত the opportunity to participate in a wild adventure. Who wouldn't want the choice which Jareth gives her? The very fact that she chose not to stay with him is that which makes it so easy for others to imagine themselves staying with him in her shoes, as there is no precedent to spoil any happy daydreams. Sarah is pretty much just there on merit of her অভিনয় skills - she doesn't have much substance as a character, with her average backstory of a life, everything is laid in the clear. Jareth, on the other hand, is a mystery. How did he become the person he is? Who is he, anyway, good অথবা evil? Could he be changed? The প্রশ্ন are endless. Jareth is, overall, a আরো interesting and impassioned character, with all the charm of David Bowie to boot.
