Pretty much the same thing. -1 being completely fictional. But unless the book is written to make এলজিবিটি গোষ্ঠী folks look terrible then idgaf.

Eh, who cares about the author's background. What the লেখক writes and how good it is matters.
So go write it.
If its hated, it will not have anything to do with your sexual orientation, অথবা if its good, then your sexual orientation still had nothing to do with how good it was lol. I mean, an LGBTQ person can write a story about heterosexual relationships and wouldn't have to ask a প্রশ্ন if he/she/whatever can write about it.
Chances are, I won't ever know the sexual orientation of the author, unless of course, everybody just keep mentioning it just because.

If they know what they're talking about, and actually write the characters well and don't just use them as queerbaiting, I don't mind.
