I just wanted to make a clear statement on how Lon died as I noticed when going though the প্রশ্ন that there was about five of them (T/F) on how he "possibly" died, well I just finished পাঠ করা Lon's biography and his official cause of death of a hemorrhage in his throat, but luckily (for him at least) he slipped into a coma the দিন before so he didn't feel it. I honesty hate getting to the end of his rather short career (only 17 maybe 18 years) I get sad when the বছর 1930 comes up in his filmography because i know its the end. But it was really touching to read his original অনুরাগী words from photoplays and moviesound (another name for early talkies) they were really dedicated and loyal. In fact when it came out that Lon was going into the hospital because of anemia thousands of his অনুরাগী flooded MGM's call line saying they would give their blood to him that the studio had to hire extra people just to deal with the volume of calls. I think thats the best admiration any one person could give to another, I thought as I read it that I would have too had I been alive then and it makes me proud (as a fan) that he was so appreciated দ্বারা his অনুরাগী in his lifetime.
One girl wrote on the debut of The Unholy Three (1930) that she wasn't sure if she wanted to know what Lon's voice sounded like, she "liked the silent ones" and "didn't want to have to see the Man of a 1,000 Faces, be the man of one voice" its interesting to see their viewpoints as they have become just if not আরো so intimate with Lon (they certainly have seen আরো of his films than we ever will) when another অনুরাগী added that "hearing Chaney talk wouldn't be a problem at all, I like talkies he could have an accent অথবা a slur, অথবা be voiced over দ্বারা a girl!" does make me see the humor people had with Chaney's characters but they do point out the endless possibilities Chaney could have risen to had he lived.
