Anyway Kate loves Jack despite the bad terms they seem to be on right now. They had a weird little family together with Aaron, and ultimately I feel Kate wants that back. I just don't see her ever realistically hooking back up with Sawyer.

She is still doing favors for him in the future... whether that's because they're friends or because she still loves him is up for debate. No matter what the reason is, the fact is that she is still at least thinking about him even when she is with Jack.
