Everyone who\'s ever been on Twitter must know by now that if you get into a sass-off with Louis Tomlinson, chances are you aren\'t going to win and guess what? That\'s exactly what happened when someone criticised him for allegedly swearing at One Direction fans this week.

Wednesday night was an eventful one for 1D and following Niall Horan\'s dramas with paparazzi being dicks to fans outside nightclub Cirque, Louis also had a dose of controversy to deal with.

Things started when a journalist who had seen a video of him leaving the club at 3.30AM took to his personal account to criticise the singer for his treatment of Directioners.

Seeming to have slightly confused the situation, he said: "If there\'s one person I dislike it\'s @Louis_Tomlinson. Said to his fans last night when leaving club, "Do you guys ever f*****g sleep?" Idiot."

Why people @ people into tweets when they are slagging them off, we may never know, but having seen the tweet, Louis decided to set a few things straight and explained that actually he hadn\'t been talking to fans at that moment at all.

He replied rather politely but with an equal measure of sass, saying: "I was talking to the paps (awkward) but I\'m sorry you misunderstood and felt the need to tweet! Have a good evening!"

That wasn\'t quite case closed though and the journalist then replied, saying: "Yet you didn\'t seem to stop to take any pictures with any of them or even acknowledge them. Have a good evening too Louis."

Oh gahd, this is all a bit stressful innit? Why can\'t we all just be friends like we were in Middle School? Still, here\'s a nice little exchange Luigi had with a fan after that\'ll probably make you do a bit of an \'awww\'.
