xx What to do if his flirting with you?

Okay... I made this new internet friend a couple of weeks ago. We got chatting, in the net chatroom and he asked for my cell number, me being naive, i gave it to him with no প্রশ্ন asked! A few days after, he messaged me to my cell. In the message he was flriting and being all sweet and funny... Most of the messages he sent me were sweet and stuff', and in most he was flirting. Then in one message he is asked how old i was, and i told him that i couldnt tell. My reason for that was because he was 17 and im just 14, i didnt want him to stop being বন্ধু with me... i eventually told him and he asked me why i didnt tell him before and if i thought he liked me... the problem is : if he didnt like me why flirt with me ? But i hope that there is a logical explaination for all of this xx
