Do আপনি believe that your gender gives আপনি advantages অথবা disadvantages in life?

I personally believe so avidly because, as a transgender, I am accustomed to vitriol and chagrin from others. That is why only a select few people in real life know about it at all. Many transgenders are persistently attacked in the vast majority of countries, and I know all too well the repercussions of being honest about it. Other gender identities that do not fit the stereotypical binary standards are often persecuted in kind. I am also feminist, but since I hate the name, I tend to call myself an "advocate for gender equality" অথবা an "egalitarian". It is a proven fact that in most countries, women are often paid less than men. However, particularly in my country, this only occurs in private businesses. It is illegal in governmental ones.

There are many generalizations made towards men, such as with how they often lose their children in cases of domestic abuse, even when the mother is at fault. They are expected to have abs, massive genitals, and a confident, cheerful outlook at all times, necessary অথবা not. However, there are a lot আরো expectations and social constructs enslaving women in totality, such as their supposed "need" to dress in extremely orthodox modesty in school, and how often they are perceived as sexual objects in comparison to men.

It may be very different in your country, so I am open to completely different perspectives. In fact, I am curious, which is why I asked this question.
