It's been a long time since I wrote an প্রবন্ধ on FanPop, but anyways I was very pleased on how the community has grown.

Now let's get to the important part, the reason I'm লেখা this is I want to ask your opinions on how Maya the Bee is similar to other কার্টুন and what do আপনি think about it. Because recently, an user on Instagram send me a message regarding the CGI series. She ব্যক্ত that the CGI series was closely similar to the 1992 French-Belgian TV প্রদর্শনী "Cococinel", which I actually never heard of. This caught my attention and I decided to investigate her claims. I've went to research and even watch the প্রদর্শনী to see any similarities based on her বিবরণ like character design, episode storyplot and etc.

The other thing is that was not a rare case. In fact, some users have been messaging me দ্বারা calling Maya a "copy' from an another shows and this has been bothering me with this kind of claims which I found illegitimate.

whatsupbugs I haven't seen or heard of Cocoinel, but from what I've seen of Maya the Bee, it seems pretty creative.

NectariaKiritsi Well, thank you for writing this article, but this kind of question also belongs to the answers section. Now as for similarities between Maya the Bee and other cartoons, this is a bit tricky to ask since I have seen so many cartoons that are similar to each other like Little Bear and Rupert Bear for example which both of them have a little bear living with his family and goes on an adventure with his friends, but for most parts they're very different. Back to the topic, I have seen a little of Cococinel and I don't think the CGI series have enough similarities between to it, but I think that person on Instagram thinks that they're similar because both of them are about insects and that the titular characters are girls (except that they're different insect species since Maya is a bee and Cococinel is a ladybug), but then again, I have seen so many people comparing two cartoons that have the same animal species or themes, but they're very different if you watch both of them and the similarities just happen to be coincidences and they're are not "copying" each other at all as I have stated before that they're overall completely very different cartoons despite of the similarities between them.

alecocofan It is a copy, there are copied characters and there are even episodes that deal with exactly the same thing and deal with the problem with the same solution and THE SAME DIALOGUE. It's all because of TF1, they created Cococinel in the 90s and it shows that they had too much faith in it... whenever they make something that has to do with an insect they add very exaggerated similarities with Cococinel. In fact, her very popular series Miraculous Ladybug is completely copied from Cococinel and here there are more than 38 episodes that are copied, the same characters but humanized and the same plot except that "transformed" into a kind of Japanese magical girl, in Maya they have ka decency just having copied some scenarios, 4 episodes and several characters.

NectariaKiritsi ^Wait! Are you that the same person who claimed that Maya the Bee "copied" Cococinel? Sorry for saying this but your reasons about the CGI Maya the Bee series "copying" off Cococinel are very invalid just because both series are about insects or have some of the "same" dialogues when there are so many animated series that just happened to have the same dialogues, but it doesn't mean that Maya the Bee copied Cococinel because of the similar designs, dialogues or even plots. Also, saying that Miraculous Ladybug copied Cococinel is also a very stupid thing to say by believing it is just Cococinel as a "magical girl series" when in reality those two are completely different TV Shows and are nothing alike and Cococinel didn't invented insects and ladybugs. For Maya the Bee, there is an anime series that predated Cococinel by so many years, so by your logic, Cococinel "copied" anime Maya the Bee, but then again, there are so many series that just happened to have the same animal species as main characters of those cartoons and they didn't copy each other at all, so sorry for saying this again, but I'm debunking all of your claims. -_-

alecocofan well it seems good to me. The only stupid one here is you, have you seen the 104 episodes of cococinel?? When you see them, talk to me. I know more than you about the subject. I've been watching and being a fan of Cococinel for 14 years and I have no reason to exaggerate or lie, okay?

I have done some research about it and it just happened to have exact 104 episodes in total like the original anime Maya the Bee series does and you don't seem to know that the anime Maya the Bee series came out in 1975 and yet, you pretended to know everything about cartoons and such, but I'm also a person who have seen so many cartoons and anime for like 20+ years already and I know that there are so many cartoons or anime that just happened to be similar to each other, but that doesn't mean that they copy each other and the similarities just happened to be just coincidences and nothing more.

alecocofan I don't deny that Cococinel took inspiration from the Mayan classic, but you are the one who is acting like a little girl and disrespecting me, be careful with me because you don't know who you are really talking to and I am capable of ending your entire fanbase.

NectariaKiritsi OK I see, but I'm sorry for talking to you a bit harshly earlier, but maybe it's possible that Studio 100 may have taken some inspirations from Cococinel when they were working on the CGI Maya the Bee series and I heard from CyNM that you contacted to them about it and that you got a response from them, so yes, CyNM have told me a lot about you regarding to this whole incident that have happened between you two, so it's all OK and there is no need to argue about it. :)
