মর্টাল ইন্সট্রুমেন্ট বই প্রশ্ন

What does Jace mean when he says "When life gives আপনি lemons, make lemonade, and then throw it in the face of the person who gave আপনি the lemons until they give আপনি the oranges আপনি originally asked for"? Just wondering.... Thanks...

When does he say that, anyway?

I always figured it was Jace's way of sarcasticly saying that আপনি don't have to put up with any shit from others; like if আপনি asked for oranges then আপনি shouldn't have to settle for lemons, আপনি know? I could be wrong, lol.

I agree with the above answer. He's saying that instead of making the best of the situation, আপনি should fight until আপনি get what আপনি want and not settle for anything less.

This saying is actually plagiarized from an episode of Newsradio, where Phil Hartman's character Bill McNeal is cynically mocking the calm and good natured outlook of his midwestern raised coworker, while stuck in an airport.

In that context it meant to constantly, and loudly complain about the situation, until the problem was resolved
