Sometimes I watch something, enjoy it but then watch it again and it just doesn't seem as good. Some movies get worse with each watching- the Jackal being one of them.

I think when you watch a movie the first time you see everything good about it that you WANT to see...then when you rewatch it you see all the errors and faults because you can focus a bit more...
I do agree that sometimes it's the other way around..you watch it and it seems horrible but when you go back through you see things you didn't notice before and the movie is better...

Yeah, I've watched some movies that I thought were just ok when I first saw them, but got better every time I watched it! Sometimes it even depends on your mood when you first saw the movie or what you were expecting from it.

Lord of the Rings 2. I didn't like it much the second time around. I had to skip the Frodo and Merry parts to get to the good Legolas parts.

Yeah, I have had that happen sometimes, but I've also seen a movie and not liked it, then loved it the second time.
