hmm both! but its also hard for both! i dont think its funny to stay with other ppl THAT close.some of them smell bad or scream all the time in your ear or touch you everywhere...idk.the performer is luckier to my opinion!

Difficult question, but I've been to my fair share of concerts, 3 of them being by the same band and I have to say from that little experience, it is all about the artist on stage. The crowd will not have anywhere near as much fun if the person giving the concert seems bored. Depeche Mode is the most vibrant band I've ever had the pleasure of seeing (x3!). I come out of those concerts feeling like I'm on top of the world.
