Danger Days, the neo-rock-opera about vigilante patriots who are fighting against an oppressive group that wants to force them into a conformed way of life. But it's apparently "too popular". That's interesting. Gemonk and Vampire, আপনি both officially made my day. This album is ABOUT being unique! It's about standing up against what others want আপনি to be. I think আপনি might be confusing intensity with a grunge pedal... their sound was heavier in Bullets/Revenge era, even in some of the Black Parade, though a lot of its inspiration came from thematic stuff like কুইন and TSP. You're right that it isn't as heavy now, there's a lot আরো keyboard and overdrive for rhythm and lead guitar, and heavier bass. But Gee ব্যক্ত he wanted to do something that everyone COULD get up and dance to. It's about color, it's about fighting for what's right, and being proud and happy about it even if আপনি don't win. That's where they're AT right now, in their lives and subsequently in their music. Like Gemonk was saying, an album made when the singer was two years drunk and suicidal is going to be different in ALOT of ways than one when the singer is YEARS sober and has a beautiful wife and daughter to go প্রথমপাতা to. I'm not saying Gerard was like, bad back then, of course I still প্রণয় him in Revenge era, but even he knew he had problems that needed fixing. He's just different now, people change, and not just Gee, but Frank is a father and they're all married... they're older now. Things are DIFFERENT, and I'm proud that they are good enough musicians to let their lives bleed into their music. "Pop" singers don't usually do that (at least I can't name any...) Who knows what the পরবর্তি album will be like? It'll be different, and I'll প্রণয় it just the same. It'll represent where they are, where they want to be, and that's good enough for me. If the boys had conformed every time that someone made a derogatory statement অথবা misinterpreted Danger Days as pop, then I'm sure we wouldn't have a My Chemical Romance at all, অথবা at least not one worth listening to.
