	fishypup picked Sparkler (Rarity): Either Sparkler or Firefly, I think. These "prototypes" all look pretty cool, but I'm darn glad the ponies all turned out the way they did!! (These weren't "changed"; they were Faust's original concept art for FiM. Names and physical traits from preexisting ponies were shuffled around to create our beloved characters...mostly for legal reasons, tied together with Faust's personal decisions, I think.) 	glelsey picked Firefly (rainbow dash): ^Yep, from what I understand Hasbro lost the rights to all the G1 names except for Applejack and Spike (if you ever see a cartoon episode from the '80s series, these two characters look more or less the same). Many of the FiM characters' names come from G3, but Lauren Faust somewhat based their personalities on these six originals. I really love Firefly's appearance. Love those luminous colours, her cutie mark, and her powerful expression and pose! But Sparkler comes in a close second, who just looks so pretty. :) posted বছরখানেক আগে.
