I HATE fillers! So the Manga is the way to go because it's the pure hard core story. Don't get me wrong I love the Anime too but I prefer to skip past all the annoying crap. :)

The anime has fillers and can change details from the manga (both plot-wise and art-wise). The manga is canon. ^_^
