sorry to say my friend but gaara is way beyond shika

we dnt know anymore he got his tailed beast taken away we dont know how much of that beasts chakra he depended on to make his sand as strong as it was!!!!

but we can get a ball park on it though. I mean they would have replaced him if we even lost a little power.

not necessarily, they havent seen him fight either!!!! but Shikamaru is to smart for Gaara!!!! Gaara would straight attack then Shikamaru would learn his style and adapt to it after 1 or 2 attacks and just come up with a way to counter his moves till he was able to find a way to defeat him!!!!

Would shadows be able to slip through his sand shield? I dunno.

he didnt really defeat temari and he is a chunin i still doubt he would win against a kazekage

if his sand sheild casts a shadow he can control it meaning opening a whole to get to the real shadow!!!! but even tho hes still a chunin he is at least jounin level!!!! i mean he is a complete strategist and can come up with a plan with in the first two hits on how he will move or counter attack his opponents moves!!!!

His abilitiess are just so much better!
