yeah, it's wayy common knowledge. When she first started out in season 3 at NCIS, she was doing it to dispose of her brother on her dad's orders, and to gain Gibb's trust. But as usual, Eli didn't tell ziva the whole story, and when that was unearthed at the end of season 6, she got really sad and felt betrayed. now she's with people she can trust.
