ok this has been bugging me for a while, y doesnt Gibbs call Tony probie as Tony calls Mcgee probie?

Well for one, Tony is a senior field agent, not a junior agent like McGee. Also, Probie means a probationer,which means a new add on to a team. So, Probie used to be the new add on to the team and Tony probably couldn't let go of the name. :)

i my opinion as to why gibbs doesn't call mcgee probie anymore is because gibbs feels that he has outgrown it and he is no longer the probie of the team. Did he used to call him probie? i think he did, and then he just stopped. But Tony is willing to call him anything to annoy him, and it annoys McGee cos he is no longer a probie but he gets called it anyway.

Because Gibbs treats everyone with honor and dignity. Special Agent McGee is a part of his team and he treats him as such.
