Ausiello: Sounds like you’ll get a ringside seat to that elusive first trimester, since exec producer Stephen Nathan tells me that Brennan and Booth will, a least initially, attempt to keep the pregnancy a secret from their co-workers.

Ausiello: An early 2015 episode will find Cam’s man Arastoo “trapped in Iran as a political prisoner,” Nathan reveals. “The only way he can leave is to solve a particularly sensitive murder. And of course he can’t do it without help.”

Ausiello: As Season 4 unfolds starting March 1, new flashbacks will highlight the Charmings, Ursula’s origin story, more of Captain Hook’s past and the tale of how Regina first met Maleficent.

Ausiello: The ‘ship actually hit an iceberg and sank, this according to Jake Johnson. “Nick is really happy for Jess and Ryan, they’ve got a nice thing going,” shares the actor. “Nick and Jess are friends, and I think [the romantic relationship] is done. You can’t keep flipping back and forth, because the show needs an identity. They went back to just friends, and they’re happy with that. And I’m happy to do it.”

Ausiello: I will just remind you that when Matt Mitovich last Q&A’d Emily Bett Rickards, she had just wrapped filming “a sad moment” for Episode 10 — aka the midseason opener, airing Jan. 21 — and it had left her “drained.” (Elsewhere on Team Arrow, Marc Guggenheim told us that in the same episode, David Ramsey “shot what I would describe as his most emotional scene…. Ausiello: The one-episode return of Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe will be “warm, happy and upbeat,” reports exec producer Mike Schur, who teases that viewers will get “some cool glimpses into what [Ann and Chris] have been up to in the years that they’ve been gone. It’s going to be a really nice thing for people to see them.” Bringing Jones back for the farewell season was among Schur’s top priorities. “The entire series is predicated on Ann Perkins coming to a small public forum and complaining about something in her neighborhood,” the EP reminds us. “That was literally the design of the show, and it just wouldn’t have felt right if we didn’t have Ann back in one episode, at least. Ausiello: As EP Rina Mimoun told us last month, the final three episodes of the medical drama’s first season — which have yet to be scheduled by Fox — will provide “closure for a lot of the current teen storylines” while showing ways that the adult characters’ arcs could continue (on the off chance of a pickup announcement). Episode 11, meanwhile, will feature the return of Jes Macallan’s Ashley and the introduction of Leo’s family — including William Ragsdale (

) as the heartthrob’s dad. Plus, the sometimes-underutilized Dash will be getting a love interest, played by newcomer Jessica Lu. “We’re packing a lot into the last three episodes of the season,” says Mimoun. “I’ll tell you that.”

As opposed to the COUNTLESS backstory episodes about the Charmings? And Regina? And Rumple? Whether or not you like Hook as a character (I happen to LOVE him), the show needs to diversify which characters they focus on or it will just be a repeat of season 1 over and over again.

I knew as soon as I saw this post that you’d get jumped on by every Hook-obsessed poster this site has to offer. Guess you’re not allowed to voice your distaste for Hook since he’s just so darn pretty.

No, it’s about the numbers. When every other character has had half a dozen to a dozen backstory episodes, it seems unreasonable to complain about a second one for Hook. Personally I’d rather a second Hook backstoyr than the zillionth Regina or Rumple one

First, if you want to play the numbers game, Hook didn’t have a centric in 4a and still managed to monopolize the screentime. Secondly, it’s really not about numbers. One episode is too many if it doesn’t add anything to the show.

At this point, I don’t think the Regina, Rumple or Belle flashbacks add anything to the show and yet I keep getting them because other people like the characters.

Kath, I agree with you 100%. I’m not the slightest bit interested in any more Regina/Rumple/Snow/Charming flashbacks. We’ve seen their back stories what feels like (and might actually be) dozens of times. Give me back stories that add a NEW dimension to the show, whether it be Hook (my personal fave) or Frozen or Ursula or Cruella or, better yet, EMMA.

To Jennifer (and others I’ve seen post similar comments in the past), I’m unclear how Hook monopolized screen time in 4A. Yes, he was *in* every episode, but often not more than a couple of scenes. If anything, Rumple & the Frozen girls got the lion’s share of screen time this season, both in Storybrooke and in flashbacks.

Hook was in every episode in episode 4a (yeah for a few scenes every episode esp after the 4th episode)… he is main character and guess what someone connected to Emma Swan, where Frozen arc was pretty much a Emma centred plot in a way. And also a Rumple plot going on as well since Rumple was taking advantage of everyone with keeping his intentions on knowing the Frozen sisters and Snow Queen to himself and then controlling Hook to do his dirty work.

I also think Regina and Rumple backstories done add anything IN THE SENSE as we ALL know how they were back then – she was the Evil Queen killing and destructed anything and anyone, as was Rumple. Atleast with Charming backstory we get a sense of his roots, his character elements – hence why i enjoyed watching his backstory in season 4b where we saw him with his long hair.

I also love to hear more about Hook and his backstory who he has encountered and seen, the dude was once a lieutentant and then a pirate… but how was he before these things. Or how did becoming a pirate affect him from being a righteous bright eyed lad to becoming a man who lost his brother and changed his entire being. Who his is dad who abandoned him…. these things i am interested in. Because Hook wasnt someone who out to destruct everyone or kingdom only ppl who wronged him which as we know was once the king he served under and Rumple who killed his first love and maimed him when he cut off his hand (something which he lived with as Rumple still cant admit he did that to his so called first wife)

Are you not Hook obsessed yourself, since you consistently post hate towards the character? And how dare Colin O’Donoghue be attractive! I bet the only reason that Hook has fans is because he is attractive! And of course, those fans must be teenage girls! …This particular anti-Hook argument regarding the shallow vapid fangirls is just bitter. As a Hook fan, I am almost as tired of it as the ‘misogynist’ charges. Intelligent discussion regarding the show IS feasible, and I would be happy to debate with those who had legitimate criticisms that weren’t sensationalist (like ab’s) or hypocritical (e.g. Hook is unredeemable, but Rumple and Regina totally are) or offensively attacking others in the fandom (I’m a feminist and assault survivor, but since I like Hook I allegedly support rape culture). But I fear playing to the lowest common denominator will continue until the show’s end, despite CS being canon.

The writer’s have to prop their pet Hook, first by killing off Neal and now with more stupidity like this *rme*

No more Nick and Jess to look forward to, forever? That’s no fun. I was hoping Nick would grow up (cuz he needs to anyway) and find his way back to her. Maybe endgame, and Jake’s just being honest about the break-ups and make-ups not happening? I think I’m the only person in the world who still liked the show while they were dating…

Nick and Jess were the saving grace last season. Without them (and Winston), season 3 would have been completely un-watchable.

Yeah, I had to ditch this show after their contrived breakup (seriously intergalactic truck driver on Mars). Come on writers let there be growth, let the characters actually grow up.

I love Nick & Jess. I understand if they don’t want to do the breakup/makeup/repeat routine with them, but endgame yes. They can use Cece/Schmidt as the will-they/won’t-they-again couple in the meantime which probably works better because they don’t live together. Just because this is a comedy doesn’t mean they should ignore character growth. Why can’t there be a way to have Nick grow up & still be Nick?

Even though I know it won’t stick and while I was amazed but I had foreseen the possibility, I have a feeling I will be so glad I save Supernatural to watch on Wednesdays and so I start Arrow right after and don’t have to watch commercials. So I can cry without stupid commercials. Roy you have to know you have to be there for the rest of your team.

An “epic climax” with “ramifications for Season 3.” But will Sleepy Hollow get a season 3? That hasn’t been announced yet. The ratings are bad and the fanbase is in disarray over the story.

Personally I think the show will get a Season 3 as it stands now, but a lot will depend on how the final 7 episodes of the season do. And I agree that people are divided over the direction of the show, the same is happening with Person of Interest fans who were upset that the dynamic was changed there.

There’s a good show there just waiting to come out, and it does at times. But oh well, what can you do? I do think they deserve a second chance to turn things around, and perhaps regain a lot of lost viewers with a good, well written third season :)

Considering the state that FOX’s dramas are in (Bones on its last legs, Glee done, The Following really weak, Red Band cancelled, Gracepoint cancelled, Wayward Pines pushed to summer), Sleepy Hollow has a ways to fall before it’d be in danger. It’ll comfortably get a third season, but I think it’ll move to another night.

That’s what I’m thinking, too. I’m certainly all for the show getting a third season, ’cause there’s so much story left to tell with these people.

As for that spoiler news about Crane and Abbie’s relationship? *Raises eyebrows* Well. That sounds dramatic. And intriguing. I’ll be very interested to see what all of THAT means.

I must disagree with you about Bones! I love all of the relationships between all of the characters on the show, and now that Emily/Bones is pregnant, there are an entirely new set of storylines to be explored. I am so looking forward to the next few seasons! We haven’t seen Parker in a while, so they can bring him back from wherever and let him play “big brother” again!

And Bones’ dad and brother can come back, too…I love this!

I honestly think if they moved Bones to another night-away from TBBT-it wouldn’t be on its “last legs”. Because before TBBT moved back to Thursdays, it was the 3rd highest show demo-wise and the 2nd highest viewer-wise (excluding Sundays) on Fox most of the time. But that’s JMO.

What is TBBT??? Since I record all my favorite shows and watch them later, I have no idea what shows are in what time slot; I don’t even know what night of the week they are on, most of the time, and I certainly don’t know what other shows are in the same time slot!

One of the perks of being able to record 4 shows at once is that I don’t have to know or to make an unpleasant choice between one or another- just record everything and watch at my own convenience. That’s how I was able to fall in love with some of the shows that got cancelled because they were in the wrong time slot competing against other more well-established and popular shows. They put INTELLIGENCE against the Blacklist and Castle, for goodness sake, (I think those were the ones) and so it was doomed from the first moment it was scheduled.

But I truly have no idea what TBBT stands for…

No. They’re bad. But another night could fix the problem. Hopefully the writers will fix the story too. It’s just not good this season.

I’ve been really disappointed in season 2 so far. They killed Irving, who was a great character and too much of the show has been focused on the Crane family of Ichabod/Katrina/Henry and that’s just boring for me. The show sparkled last season when Abbie tried to bring Ichabod into the 21st century and it still does those few times when the writers write to them but most of the season has been pretty boring compared to season one. At this point, I don’t care if it gets renewed or not

Karaoke sounds like it’s going to last about ten seconds, and then it’s back to the boring Katrina and Henry stuff.

I agree. I don’t believe Irving is gone for good because if they had him sign away his soul for the sole purpose of wielding that sword when that is a plot point begging for some utilization, then I might have to give up watching. I understand they want to use John Noble as much as they can, but the Crane family drama in practice is not as intriguing as it seemed it could be. I’m pretty sure they’ll swing a 3rd season, and I hope they can find their groove again. This was one of my favorite shows last season, and it just hasn’t been as much fun to watch this season.

I am hoping Irving comes back somehow – ghost? the whole plot about Henry owning his soul doesn’t feel completely resolved…

Having said that, agreed that Sleepy Hollow has been dull this Second Season with all that Katrina-Henry-Abraham plot going around in circles

Perhaps they resurrect Irving a s the new horseman. Maloch did say there have been horseman before you and will be more after you.” That would be a neat twist. I agree with the consensus though that this season has focussed too much on Katrina and its become boring. We can all clearly see where it’s going but the writers are dragggging it out. Her story line has reached its potential. Time to pull that chord. But not before Abbie gets a stable love interest. I don’t really like that male character they introduced. I even forgot his name lol

I think that Sleepy Hollow will receive a Season 3, but unless some MAJOR changes occur (and ‘major’ is still an understatement) I don’t know who will be watching and I don’t see it lasting beyond that. Hoping that FOX will fire AMC’s lead, a la The Walking Dead, and clean house. Goffman has been systematically dismantling and destroying all that made the show unique. I was holding out hope for some twists in the back half of Season 2 that would restore the show, but now I don’t think that they are coming. He needs to be stopped. Otherwise, he won’t be the only person out of a job…

How can anyone actually think that Oliver Queen is dead on Arrow?

People seem divided. Some believe him to be dead and will be revived via Lazarus Pit, some believe his fall caused some serious damage but he’ll be rescued and nursed back to health, and some as you said believe that’s the end of Oliver ;)

I got to agree. I was a hardcore Calzona fan until season 9 cheating SL., it has gone from bad to worse ever since. But, don’t see Callie/Owen thing, need to see her with someone else, but never more with Arizona, who I think is being written off anyway.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Felicity and Diggle react to Oliver being “dead”. (They better not believe it just cuz Malcolm says so.) Should be some really good scenes with David Ramsey and Emily Bett Rickards.

After that, I don’t really care much unless the Lazarus Pit brings Sara back. Thea lost me by lying to Oliver about her association with Malcolm so I don’t care about her any more, Malcolm hasn’t really been interesting since Moira died and he started riding roughshod over everyone, and zero interest in Laurel putting on Sara’s role.

Just what I was thinking. Team Arrow is the show for me. Not a Thea fan since she lied to Oliver. What a hypocritical way to be from her. My opinion Never cared for Laurel so these Laurel centric episodes I’m rather not excited about. Very much excited for Diggle and Felicity. And I wonder what flashbacks there will be about Sara in her past, and then the same about Oliver.

Yeah bring on the Owen/Amelia! Both deserve happiness and Amelia wouldn’t fit with any other male on the show anyway, also everyone else is taken. I wonder what they are gonna do with Maggie and Stephanie though, keep them sjngle?

No more Nick and Jess? Well I’m a bit less interested in the show now. It’s funny but not as hilarious as season 1 was and I mostly enjoyed Nick and Jess and their chemistry and kept watching hoping for a rekindling but if it’s not coming I’ll just wait for the rest of season to be on Netflix and then maybe watch it. This’ll save space on my DVR. Lol

I am really disappointed. Nick and Jess were so much fun. I used to be so excited for every episode. Now it seems like the writers have decided to stop focusing on character development, so I guess that means none of the characters can have serious relationships. Well, it is still funny, but the heart is disappearing.

I tried to watch this season, but it’s so hollow. Really, REALLY tired of the casual sex story lines. I hate to watch and feel like they’re turning into “losers”, but they really dumbed down everything, especially Nick. I was hanging on thinking they’d start to bring them back together in this second half, but I’m tuning out and maybe binging over the summer. Not worth it to be continually disappointed week after week.

Yeah. This was not a good move on Jake’s part. Never deny in TV. Always leave a possibility of something in the future or you risk alienating the viewers and unfortunately, that just happened. Now, I’m gonna have to wait till the end of the show to get back to it.

Forever – it would be kinda hard for Abe to introduce his “father” to a girl, marry her, then have to explain how, 20 years later, he looks exactly the same. I always assumed that it was as easy as that.

Oh man, Arrow’s Felicity and Diggle going to break my heart, aren’t they? This is going to be brutal in the best TV kind of way. I sighed when I read the bit about the DJ though. I was hoping the show had come to its senses and dumped that horrible idea. Worst. intro. ever. #dumb

The DJ was such a self-loving douchebag the episode he was in. Thea has terrible taste letting him kiss her and not firing him for doing it.

Arrow is already running too many storylines at the same time and not doing credit to them (Oliver gone, Thea/Merlyn, Laurel/Black Canary, Ray/suit, Roy as Arsenal, Diggle/Lyla/baby,

Slade returning, cross-overs and whatever they’re doing with Felicity).

This is one they should drop, or at least park till they get some others tied up.

Thea and Merlyn is part of the Canary and Oliver’s storyline. They aren’t separate. I don’t like Chase either, but someone speculated that he’s really Slade’s son, Joe. I don’t know if that’s the case, but I’m happy that there’s more to him than just being a douchy love interest.

They doing too much all at once. Laurel will become InstaCanary and Roy will take the lead while Oliver is gone and at the same time Ray will be getting his suit to become the Atom and probably Thea will end up as Speedy by the end of the season. Roy’s been building to it for a while but doing Laurel’s and Ray’s stories at the same time means that the stories don’t get told properly. And Thea’s can certainly wait for next season.

I think all the viewers end up getting cheated because it’s all happening too fast and without enough storytelling. Last season, Roy got short-changed in becoming a superhero because there wasn’t enough time with Slade and Sara around and those people like me who watch for Oliver/Diggle/Felicity got frustrated because Diggle and Felicity practically dropped out of the show for 10 episodes.

Now it looks like the same thing is happening again. We’ll see Diggle and Felicity’s reactions to Oliver being dead, and then they’ll be put in the back burner for Laurel, Roy, Ray, Thea and Malcolm, until it’s time to pull them out again for the big season finale. I’m not looking forward to episode 311 and beyond because of it..

Laurel won’t be instant anything. She’ll learn on the job. She’ll take a beating, but get back up. Roy didn’t get short changed in becoming a superhero because he’s still learning. Having a suit doesn’t mean you are instantly a great superhero, plus he already had a leg up on Thea and Laurel because he had been street fighting for a while.

Slade was the antagonist last season, so of course he took precedent. I just don’t want to see more Secret origin of Felicity like episodes. It did nothing for the season overall as far as I can tell, and told us little about Felicity that we didn’t already know other than she was once a goth.

Your last paragraph is nonsense. Laurel, Roy, and the other’s reactions to Oliver’s death are just as important as Diggle and Felicity. Let’s not forget that they are main characters as well. Felicity wasn’t always part of the team. There are 14 episodes left this season. That’s plenty of time to bring all of these threads together, assuming we don’t get more 3.05’s or Cupid episodes. I would also like to see Ra’s Al Ghul fleshed out.

Completely agree on terrible DJ character and the way he was introduced. If they wanted us to all go ugh… ewww in a loop for every second of those scenes, they succeeded…

I don’t know why, but I have NEVER been able to view the pictures in ANY of your galleries. Does your gallery require a particular program that I (obviously) do not have? If so, how do I get it? I can see the thumbnails in the “proof set” below the main screen, but that screen is always blank for me. Help, please!

Try a different browser or upgrade yours. I can’t upgrade at work on my Explorer so I can’t see the pictures through that but I can see the pictures on Google Chrome. Hope that helps!!!

I disagree with Mitch’s wish for Castle for 2015. I wish the opposite. I want an early renewal for Castle and I would love to see it go out after season ten. I don’t think that is unreasonable or out of the realm of possibility. I believe they can still go out high at the end of season ten. WIth the talent of the writers, cast, and crew, and the number of fans, this show has staying power. I have no doubt ABC will pick up Castle for a season eight, however, my concern lies in contract negotiations.

Is it weird that I’m still routing for Tom and Elizabeth? I think it’s more I really enjoyed Ryan Eggold performance and I don’t want him to go. Will there be anyone who understands Liz more then Tom? I mean after studying her and worming his way into an intimate relationship and feeding information back to his handlers about her, watching her every move and then eventually betraying her… Yeah it’s weird that I’m rooting for them. “Arrow” writers already deserve a raise for all the drama they have wrung out of this season. If they can top themselves in the second half, I’ll take up a collection to send them on a nice hiatus vacation!

I like the Bones first spoiler, but not the 2nd. Boring I don’t like Arastoo. And the Once spoiler was cheap! Of course there’s going to be new flashbacks. I WANT a Rumbelle spoilers!!!
