I'm gonna try to do a countdown. I've never actually completed one before but this one could be very interesting so I'm gonna give it another try.

I've included the OUATiW parents because man have they got some doozy's over there. If you haven't seen Wonderland don't worry. They will all be gone sooner rather then later. Please tell me if I've missed any so I can add them this round because after that it'll be to late!

Oh by far! He was horrible. IMO there are only a few good parents on the shows. This should be a fun competition though.

I agree. The only ones that really did everything right by there kids are Robin, Jefferson and Snow's parents. The others all made mistakes (some bigger then others). That's what should make this so interesting.

Yeah I agree with those ones, although it wasn't really Neal's fault he couldn't be a father to Henry. Overall I actually think the fathers are worse than mothers.

Also if we add Michael Tillman i think we should add Kurt Flynn but it's up to you :)

Milah is the worst parent by far! (I don't know the sultan... he must be very horroristic)

Neal is one one of the best ones. Also Geppetto didn't do anything wrong and Snow and Charming weren't given a choice either. They did what they could.

I loved how Neal always stuck by Henry when he met him. Snow i think is quite a bad parent. She seemed to be too controlling IMO.

She just seemed controlling, like telling Emma what to do some of the time. But that's just my opinion. Also, I think Milah loved Bae but she was spiraling down into depression so what else could she do? Hook said they would go back for Bae, she was probably just thinking of it like a holiday for herself. Pan actually admitted he never loved rumple.

She just forgets that Emma is not a child and doesn't need any help from her parents. I feel like Snow would be a great mother if she could start from the beginning. She is sure to take after her parents.

That's why I was so excited when she finally admitted that she wanted another child. And with Ginny being preggers there's a pretty good chance Snow will be expecting this March.

Yeah she would've been good but I don't think she is. She also sometimes says that she wants to be a mother to Emma, but sometimes doesn't act like one at all. Again, it would be hard if you were the same age :P

Yeah that's the issue. If Emma was Henry's age it would be acceptable for her to want to protect her all the time and give her advice (like Eva did for her) but she has to forget all that and learn to take a back seat and let Emma make her own decisions and mistakes but still be there for her when she needs her. It's a though thing for most parents to learn but most get years to figure it out.

Snow isn't the best parent on the show by far but she is one of the better ones.

minervadawn : Milah had left her son because of her pride was infringed that the child's father is a coward. If she loved a little better Bae than her vanity she would've found a solution. In my eyes this sin is greater than Pan's. Pan never loved Rumple and never pretended so. He didn't left his son because of his spouse took a bad decision.

But pan did pretend to love Rumple. He told Rumple that he loved him when he imprisoned him in the box. He made rumple think that it was somehow his fault his father abandoned him. It wasn't until later that he admitted that it was because he never wanted him in the first place. What makes it even worse is that he came back and rubbed his abandonment in Rumples face (Nasty Habits) saying that no one would ever love him enough to stay with him.

Milah did love Bae. I didn't leave him because she didn't love him. It was because she couldn't bear to live with a man she no longer loved. Whatever the reason she shouldn't have to stay with someone she doesn't love. She had the right to leave and divorce wan't an option. Sure she could have found a different solution but she didn't pretend it was Bae's fault. Also if you remember she always intended to come back for him when he was old enough.

My second choice would be Cora. The Sultan was horrible too, but cause I don't like OUAT in Wonderland a whole lot I don't really have strong feelings about him and that whole situation. (If that even makes sense).

From this point of view, actually you're right. Apparently I'm too angry to Milah. I'm a mother too and I'd never would be able to do that. :)

@Elf-11 Mothers just get judged more harshly when it comes to parenting then fathers. What she did definitely puts her in the bad parent category don't get me wrong, just not quite as low as some of the others. She is definitely above any of the parents that either disowned or tried to kill their children or those they loved.

Peter Pan will never get the BEST parent award (duh!) but he isn't the worst one either!

Malcolm try to be a good parent for Rumple in the beginning, but the Sultan... He make his son his servitor and try to kill him. +He refuse to admit Jafar is his soon and his only regret is to not let him under the water longer... He is really worst!
