I think is a good plot twist ;) even though it's repeated . It's always fun watching the flashbacks & the characters trying to figure out what is really going on

On on hand it's funny and it still holds it's points of interest (and helps bridges us to the Enchanted Forest) but on the other it's becoming redundant and overused.

You'd think they'd all start carrying notebooks/diaries around.

1. I actually love the "detective mystery" type element that it brings to the show. I like the option of trying to figure out what happened to them before they do.
2. I think it really worked perfectly here for the reason that the characters should hate it. It's perfect because it's the first time Emma has the upper hand where she knows more than anyone else. I think it makes sense she'd want to do something ironic like that to them. Knowing personally how much it sucks and also how effective it is.
3. I'm not quite sure if diaries would help if the curse would be able to get rid of them. Not all objects always carry over or are always found.

I mean yeh I get whey it happened but I still feel like it's becoming over done at this point. I mean it's not something Imma throw a fit over but, still a plot line that's used a lot.
