Ruth. I know everyone thinks she's great but she SOLD her firstborn to the EF equivalent of the devil.

I don't agree with what Ruth did, but at the same time, I can't blame her. I understand why she did it.

She was a woman with two sons and living in poverty. Rumple came along and told them that the family would be paid if they would give up one of her twin sons to go to the barren Queen and become the King's heir. So their son would become a prince and in return, they would be able to afford to survive. If they hadn't, their sons may have starved. But by agreeing, they were able to provide for their remaining son and their other son went on to become the prince.

Like I said, I don't agree with it, but she didn't exactly do something terrible either. She could have sold him into slavery or something, but I think she knew her son would be going to the King and Queen. So it's not like she blindly sold him for money. She knew where he was going. And they did regret making the deal, but at the time, they didn't really have many options and were already starving.

Rumple again. I don't understand why Neal has votes, he was great when he found out about Henry.

So this round it's either Henry or Ruth for me (what @minervadawn said about her).

Who said Geppetto? He was one of the best, IMO.

I can't believe Ruth has votes! IMO her, Eva and Gepetto should be the top 3.

Unfortunately

I picked Geppeto because he screwed Snow and Emma over by demanding that his son go through the portal, meaning Snow (or Charming) wasn't going to be able to go through with Emma. He placed the responsibility of an adult on his son's shoulders and it resulted in Pinocchio/August abandoning Emma not too long after going through the portal.

It was a moment of selfishness that almost screwed everything up. Emma was forced to grow up without her mother or father because Geppeto's son had to go through.

And it was all because he was afraid of the Evil Queen's curse. He was afraid of the unknown. So he sent his son through a portal, to the unknown, with the responsibility of caring for a baby and basically raising her so she could be the Savior.

I personally think Geppetto was a great father. Just look at the picture it's so cute. His smile <3
Snow did the same thing basically. Sent her daughter who was a newborn into a wardrobe when any disgusting man could have got a hold of her and killed her even. That's why I find Snow terrible. Like Emma said it would've been better if she was cursed with them. Snow didn't know what lied beyond the wardrobe and she still sent her daughter there. Emma could've been picked up by horrible people who abused her, raped her, murdered her...

I think Gepetto and Eva were great parents (maybe the best, haven't decided yet lol) but I think Ruth was a bad parent because she sold one of her babies to Rumpel (who was like the devil, like @minervadawn said).

I think it's pretty unfair for Rumple to be elimilated so soon!

Plus Snow sent Emma away knowing anyone could've got her (a rapist, murderer), Rumple let Bae fall through the portal knowing he could easily die living alone. So they're basically worse or the same as her. Plus she was a great mother to Charming.

Just because we are the only ones that have pointed it out doesn't make it any less true. As for being a great mother to Charming, the Sultan was a great father to Mirza, Alphonse loved Gerhardt.

I don't understand why Neal is a bad parent... He didn't even know about Henry! And since the revelation, he did everything to create a bond with his son and protect him.

@Evilregal14, if Snow and Charming hadn't sent Emma away Regina's guards would have probably killed her anyway. Plus, then there would be no possibility of getting away from the curse and they would have all been miserable forever. Plus, they still had hope they would see Emma again. And I think that Rumpel only had one moment to think. In my opinion he was just in shock. It was a very big mistake, yes, but I don't think it was as bad. Especially, since he had been cursed (turned into the dark one) a few weeks or months ago and he wasn't really himself. He wouldn't have traded his son like Ruth did. Also, we're probably not the only fans that are saying it... :S In this poll for example 8% voted for Ruth (which is 2 votes) and since I didn't vote for her yet (I voted for Henry) someone else who isn't minervadawn also did haha

^^ I don't understand why Neal is getting votes either. He may not have made the best choices as a lover but he's always done the right thing as a father. The only thing I can possible see as coming across as bad parenting is when he convinced Robin to endanger his own son and when he was trying to win Emma back when his only priority should have been saving Henry. Still I wouldn't be voting him for quite awhile.

Geppeto I also don't understand he may have endangered the entire kingdom by insisting Pinocchio go in the wardrobe but he was only trying to protect his son.

Rumple made one mistake. I don't think that makes him a bad parent and I'd prefer that Ruth and Henry Sr when out before him but compared to everyone else I suppose it is his turn to go.

I LOVE Rumple, but he definitely made some serious mistakes in parenting. There's no doubt that he loves Neal, but he made so many wrong choices regarding him.

At least she only got 2 votes...but I haven't seen ANYONE else say Ruth is a bad parent. ^^^

^Lol, me neither, actually (except my mum, but we agree on almost everything so that's normal, maybe the genetic code or something haha)... anyway I don't really care about what most people think, it's just my opinion :P

It's only 32-40 fans that vote each time anyway so I don't care that Cora or Anita has been eliminated because it's not even the majority of fans. There is over 4 million.

Yeah, especially on Facebook there are so many different opinions. There may be others think Ruth is bad, but I haven't heard anything on Facebook/twitter like that. I've heard people saying Anita/Milah...even Emma, are bad mothers but not Ruth. I personally think Emma is bad too but that's not the point lol :)
