"Here she is now, Ellen DeGeneres!" the announcer called out as we watched from backstage Ellen walk out and wave to her audience as they cheered. We were backstage at the Ellen প্রদর্শনী where the boys would be interviewed for a সেকেন্ড time. It had been about a বছর and a half since she had last interviewed them, but they were excited to see Ellen again. I turned to Niall and said, "Are আপনি sure আপনি want to announce it here?" Niall nodded. "Yes. It'll be fun, telling the world we're engaged on national television," he smiled. I breathed in. "Wow, sounds kinda scary..." I noted. He shook his head and grabbed my hands. 20 মিনিট later, Ruby, Eleanor and I watched the boys from backstage. Ellen finally announced, "It's been over a বছর since I interviewed these guys, and they're ready to make their comeback! Here they are, One Direction!" All of the teenage girls in he crowd screamed and went wild. The boys stepped onto the stage and waved to the crowd. Finally, before the crowd was about to be completely silenced, a girl cried out from the back row, "I প্রণয় YOU, HARRY!" Harry chuckled and waved to the girl. I nudged Ruby as she playfully rolled her eyes.
"Good to have আপনি guys back!" Ellen smiled at the boys as the murmured "Good to be back." Ellen broke out into a conversation for a few minutes. After 20 minutes, they had to go to break. While on break, a producer jogged up to us and said, "Come with me." I looked at Eleanor and Ruby. "Who?" I said. The producer laughed. "All of you, come on," he said, guiding us to the stage.
The producer practically dragged us to the stage where they had replaced the পালঙ্ক with an even longer couch. Ruby sat পরবর্তি to Harry, I sat in between Ruby and Niall, and Eleanor sat পরবর্তি to Louis. Why were we out here? Why was Ellen going to interview us? I assumed the boys didn't know about this, they looked just as surprised as Eleanor, Ruby and I. A man behind a large camera pointed at us called out, "We're back in 5...4...3...2..." He held up one finger, then pointed to Ellen as the crowed slightly cheered again.
"We're back with some আরো special guests, consisting of Louis' girlfriend Eleanor, Harry's little sister Ruby, and Niall's girlfriend, Lilah," Ellen ব্যক্ত as Ruby squeezed my wrist. Ellen looked at Niall and I. "So, Lilah and Niall, everyone is wondering something..." Ellen began. Niall and I smiled at each other as the picture that was on the People magazine of the closeup of my engagement ring appeared on the screen behind us. "...are আপনি two getting married?" Ellen finished. Niall blushed and looked at me, then back at Ellen. "I'll just say it, Lilah and I are getting married," Niall smiled as the crowd went crazy. Ellen cooed, "Aw, that's so great. Getting married was one of the greatest things I've ever done, and আপনি two are a really great couple." I squeezed Niall's hand. Then Ellen ঘুঘু into a conversation with Eleanor and Louis about Annabeth and how she's doing.
An ঘন্টা later, we stepped out of the studio and went home, of course, being chased দ্বারা আরো paparazzi than usual. I didn't care. The world now knew that Niall and I were together, and nothing could break this mood.
Back at my apartment, both my cell phone and my apartment phone were ringing nonstop, as well as Niall's. Niall hit 'turn ringer off' on all the phones and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I প্রণয় you," he ব্যক্ত after a মিনিট of staring into my eyes. I kissed him. "I প্রণয় আপনি too, Niall," I responded.
