It had all the makings of an interesting teen romance - but it seems the relationship between Gillian McKeith's daughter Skylar and One Directions' Niall Horan is over before it had even begun.
Bemused former X Factor contestant Niall has taken to his Twitter page to deny any rumours that there was anything going on between them.
He posted: 'I don't know where that story about me and gillian mckeiths daughter has come from, I'm sure she is a nice girl, but there is no truth.'

It was reported that the 17-year-old singer had apparently hit it off with 16-year-old Skylar when they met backstage on one of The X Factor live shows - despite Simon Cowell's strict প্রণয় ban as he attempts to turn them into a bona fide boy band.

Skylar had পোষ্ট হয়েছে a picture of herself with Niall and his bandmate Harry Styles with the caption: 'With @Harry_styles and @niallofficial from @onedirection backstage at @thexfactor.'

Simon Cowell, who was the mastermind behind the hugely successful boyband One Direction after putting them together on 'The X Factor' U.K. in 2010, has admitted while he thinks they will make two আরো albums as a group, their future isn't certain after those records have been released.

It has been a long time since One Direction last released a single.

In fact their last single আপনি & I was released in April and only reached a peak of number 19 in the official UK chart.

The boys have of course been incredibly busy since then. Niall organised a charity football match, they launched their latest perfume and most importantly they have been travelling around the world on their Where We Are tour which reached its final leg this month.

But looking at the dates of their single releases over the past few years, we should be due a new release any time now.
